Misleadership abounds, and I found the same rotten elitists and anti-thinkers and anti-outside-the-box doers in unions, with milquetoast environmental groups, with so many politically buggered by the Demon-crats that no amount of blue in the face talk makes any sense to these people. Business as usual is the order of the day, even with those deeming themselves “one with the people, one with the laborers.”
Those front lines now include downtown Portland, a distinct hub for other cities to study the place I work for dealing with homelessness – which in many cases is the issue of drug-substance-booze abuse. And, homelessness caused by one fine tacked onto another fine, until warrants are out, garnishments are set, unholy child support payments and restitution are robbed, and, well, the system is set in stone by the money changers, the legal and political class (classless), and wave after wave of middling human servicing this hell.
I get people jobs, job training, career planning, services, as a case manager and supported employment person. Story after story becomes personal. Each person once was a child, and many of the adults I work with were loved once, or were swaddled after labor and set through one designed hell after another, from foster child to juvenile delinquent to orphan to abandoned, until this elite class of people with their magic wands and probes and conductor’s sticks determine destinies.

We’ve created entire organizations that exist just to tell everyone that the Jews don’t control nothin’. No, we don’t control the media, we don’t have any more sway in DC than anyone else. No, no, no, we swear: We’re just like everybody else!
