According to progressives, European nations have wonderfully generous welfare states financed by high tax rates on the rich. However, they’re wrong about how those welfare states are financed. Also, the US arguably has the most “progressive” tax system in the developed world. Not because we tax the rich more, but simply because we impose comparatively modest burdens on everyone else.
In light of the happenings at Charlottesville, Virginia. And all this tossing around of the KKK and Nazi labels. While considering the infiltration of all groups as mentioned in the previous post?

Is it possible that many families, if given the opportunity, would openly embrace the concept of very small, family-like, community schools akin to those once known as the “little red schoolhouse”? And is it possible that this small, individualized education would go far in correcting the behavioral and academic issues which plague the sprawling school campuses we have today?
God save us!I'm old. New Rule: When you're old you don't have to vote for the lesser of two evils any more. Now if a candidate isn't offering me something I want, I won't vote for them. I've never voted for my Democratic congressman, Adam Schiff, who was, until recently when he switched to the almost-as-bad New Dems, a Blue Dog.

Shocking new research suggests that energy drinks may be a gateway drug to harder substances, including cocaine and non-prescription stimulants.
Source: Express
Researchers at the University of Maryland School of Public Health studied 1,099 young adults between the ages of 21 and 25 over 5 years. They found that those who drank highly caffeinated drinks over time had a significantly higher risk of using cocaine, non-prescription stimulants, and of developing an alcohol use disorder by age 25. American liberal mainstream media has picked up a story which originated from the state-owned Qatari propaganda outlet Al Jazeera which seeks to link the American far-right, sometimes called the alt-right with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party.

As the war of words between the US and North Korea continues to mount, an increasingly angry and worried China has given Washington and Pyongyang a clear public hint of where its red lines are.

Russia has put its voice forward calling for a delay in the Kurdish independence referendum in north Iraq which is scheduled for September.
Russia has instead encouraged the Iraqi government and Iraqi Kurds to engage in dialogue in order to reach a compromise solution which does not threaten Iraq’s territorial integrity. This move will be welcomed by Turkey which is set against Kurdish separatism throughout the region.
The NATO military alliance is a world encompassing threat. It is now conducting various forms of hybrid warfare against Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and most of Africa. They have destroyed directly or are largely responsible for the destruction of the socialist nations of the USSR, Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and too many to name in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Fidget spinners are pretty sweet. They were designed to help people with conditions like ADD to better concentrate, though they have turned into a huge trend in toys. However, there have been a number of incidents involving injuries caused by fidget spinners, prompting the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to issue a new fidget spinner safety guidance for both buyers and businesses. Donald Trump has held a phone call with the leader of the US territory of Guam, Eddie Calvo, in which the leaders spoke of North Korea’s recent threat to “envelope Guam in fire” should Pyongyang feel threatened by the US. Guam is home to the large Andersen Airforce Base.
During the phone call, Trump seemed more proud of how the crisis has caused the often forgotten island of Guam to make international headlines than he seemed to be concerned about the crisis itself.
Trump stated,
Saudi Arabia has extraordinarily asked Iraq to mediate in the prolonged schism between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
According to Iraq’s Interior Minister Qassim Araji,
“Mohammed bin Salman (the Saudi crown prince) officially demanded me that Iraq mediate between Iran and Saudi Arabia to reduce tensions. King Salman had also earlier raised such a demand. We believe that friendly relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will help the regional security”.

China’s official policy on North Korea is widely known. Beijing argues for North Korea to cease its weapons tests and argues for the US and its allies to cease testing weapons and conducting military drills in and around South Korea. Furthermore, China like Russia, is calling for direct talks between Washington and Pyongyang.
But what do ordinary Chinese think?
The group Asian Boss went to the streets of Beijing to ask mainly young but highly informed Chinese men and women what they thought about North Korea.

For most people, the Venezuela crisis is about the political tensions between the popularly elected socialist President Nicolas Maduro and the legislature which backs him, the Constituent Assembly. The executive and Constituent Assembly are in conflict with the pro-US National Assembly whose powers have been reduced after Venezuela’s Supreme Court discovered voting irregularities in the 2015 election.

Mohammad is The Last Prophet. There will come no Prophet after him. That means that we shall not receive any new revelation nor will there be any new message from God to the people. What conclusion is to be drawn from that? Well, that Mohammad´s revelations are sufficient. God has said everything worth saying. The Quran contains everything we need to know. No further holy books are necessary.

Comments made during the Senate confirmation hearing by the Trump administration’s ambassador-designate to the Bahamas evoked memories of the turn of the 19th century United States, one that championed colonialism and imperialism to compete with Europe’s colonial empires. Apparently, the Trump administration is wedded to the arcane Monroe Doctrine, which stipulates that the Western Hemisphere constitutes America’s domain and non-hemispheric nations should steer clear of making any new colonial forays into any territory from the Arctic Circle to Tierra del Fuego.
Winning! It’s the White House watchword when it comes to the US armed forces. “We will give our military the tools you need to prevent war and, if required, to fight war and only do one thing—you know what that is? Win! Win!” President Donald Trump exclaimed earlier this year while standing aboard the new aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford.
The US got Libya to disarm…then the US invaded and destroyed Libya.
North Korea (and the world) was watching and learned a lesson from Libya.
George W. Bush U.S. pressure on North Korea and Iran and the war in Iraq “have sent an unmistakable message to regimes that seek or possess weapons of mass destruction: Those weapons do not bring influence or prestige. They bring isolation and otherwise unwelcome consequences.

Mon châtiment pour ne pas suivre la « ligne du parti » – un « évitement » pur et simple de la part des médias occidentaux – n’a cependant pas diminué mon perpétuel engagement à voir ce qui se cache de l’autre côté de ce récit.

This is something they've been promoting for weeks in the fever swamps of TrumpWorld.
