So does this make me a libertarian on the issue? The answer is yes, of course, but I confess that legalization has a downside. And I’m not talking about more people wrecking their lives with drug abuse. Instead, I don’t like the fact that politicians see legalization mostly as an opportunity to generate additional tax revenue.
Trump always denies his high-profile bankruptcies, half a dozen of which were front page headlines in New York and, of course, Atlantic City, over and over again. His denials, precursors of the lies that mark every day of his illegitimate presidency, were accepted at face value by the rubes in Wyoming, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, North Dakota and Alabama.

A number of the drills between Bangladesh and India will be held in jungle and forested terrain along their border in the northeast [Xinhua]
In hopes of boosting counter-terrorism efforts across borders, India today launched a number of military drills with its neighbor Bangladesh.
The drills, titled “Exercise Sampriti”, will be held in the northeastern border states of Meghalaya and Mizoram until November 18 and be divided into two phases.
As the terrain is mountainous and is flush with jungle terrain, India’s Jungle Warfare School in Mizoram state will be involved.

This question arises from an attempt to understand Amnesty International’s role in the war in Syria. Critics have argued that by justifying […]

Sometimes a relatively obscure event takes place which has profound consequences far beyond its original location. For example, the positioning of the star at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem was one of the causes of the Crimean War, which contributed to the eventual downfall of the Russian autocracy, removed the British Prime Minister and is still causing boundary disputes between modern Turkey and its neighbours.

President Trump has brought the boorish bigotry of right-wing talk radio into the White House, as shown again by his ugly reaction to the terror attack on a New York bike path, as ex-CIA analyst Paul R. Pillar explains.
