9/11 researcher Kevin Ryan of Digwithin.net joins us once again to discuss his new must-read book, “Another Nineteen: Investigating Legitimate 9/11 Suspects.” We discuss some of the individuals and corporations identified in his book and those who have helped to cover up investigations of them, as well as what works like this can accomplish and where the 9/11 truth movement should head from here.
Financiers of the far right's anti-democracy jihad: 2 KochsElizabeth Drew, in a fascinating piece for the NY Review of Books, The Stranglehold on Our Politics, talks about the determinative properties of voter turnout in midterm elections. Normally turnout sinks from between 51.7 to 61.6% for presidential elections into the high 30s for midterms.
In his searing and incisive book analyzing the Cheney presidency, Angler, Barton Gellman goes into how Cheney was able to neutralize his old crony, Fed Chair Alan Greenspan when he decided to cripple the American economy with a catastrophic tax cut for the wealthy, specifically designed to foster and accelerate economic inequality. They violated a principle that keeps a country's central banker independent of partisan politics.
September 9, 2013 (Tony Cartalucci) - "Reza Kahlili" is not his real name. Appearing either masked or silhouetted, "Reza Kahlili" is a reoccurring character in the US Neo-Con's long-running pro-war, anti-Iranian propaganda campaign, stretching all the way back to the Bush administration. His biography, as stated on Neo-Con warmonger Joseph Farah's "World Net Daily" (WND), is as follows:
US intransigence in the face of a war-weary world will mean the end of the country as we know it
We write to you today as two young Americans who believe that striking Syria will lead to a never-ending war that will wipe out our generation’s future. But we write to you filled with hope. For years We, The People of the United States of America have been divided by bitter partisanship but today we stand united in transpartisanopposition to striking Syria.
Amman, Jordan – Turning on the television in Amman one will discover news coverage of the Syrian Civil War that is eerily similar to that in the United States albeit it is more in-depth. Whether it be the BBC, Al-Jazeera, or of course CNN all are unanimous in their incessant condemnation of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and consistent deriding of the US Congress for their "delay."

The AMERICAN METEOROLOGICAL SOCIETY just published a Special Supplement to the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society titled: EXPLAINING EXTREME EVENTS OF 2012 FROM A CLIMATE PERSPECTIVE edited by Thomas C. Peterson, Martin P. Hoerling, Peter A. Stott, and Stephanie C. Herring. [hereafter EEE2012].
The good news? President Obama’s surprise decision to consult Congress about launching a U.S. strike on Syria has returned crucial powers to the people’s representatives, allowing a much-needed public discussion about the U.S. stake – or lack thereof – in Syria’s civil war.
Demonstrators opposing a U.S. attack on Syria lined a busy Houston intersection Saturday evening, waving signs, U.S. and Syrian flags, and chanting slogans at the thousands of passing motorists, many of whom honked and waved their approval. The group numbered roughly 70 at their peak during the three-hour rally, with dozens arriving and leaving during the event.
Sunday again.. And time for my usual weekly rant.... I am hoping that the world does not go to hell this week and that I will be able to do these in the future...Lets first get one thing straight... I have been called a "hater" and even a "racist" for my stance against the true criminality on this planet, which is of course the Jews.... Many have said that I have now gone too far in naming these criminals by name.... I tell them to get their heads out of their butts and to examine closely ALL of the crimes ever done against humanity and dig deep...
You can start a war, but it does not end until the other side says it does.
President Obama is delusional. He is advised by three dangerously incompetent National Security advisers: Susan Rice, Samantha Power and Ben Rhodes. He actually said at the G-20 Summit that he wanted No Boots on the Ground but did want a manageable but limited response. He has also said he does not need approval from the Congress, the UN and NATO. His spokesmen mentioned the need to degrade Syrian forces. This is insane.

The nine Latin American states (ALBA) have condemned any possible aggression against Syria and announced the dispatching of humanitarian aid to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
The DCCC has been howling for 3 days about how Staten Island Gambino crime family congressman, Michael "Mikey Suits" Grimm was first for war and then anti-war. "He changed his mind, he changed his mind" has been the constant, annoying refrain, although they haven't said anything about Ami Bera (D-CA) doing exactly the same thing.

US Secretary of State John Kerry has urged the European Union (EU) to delay a planned ban on Israel over the Tel Aviv regime’s continued settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, according to a senior US official.
September 8, 2013 (Tony Cartalucci) - The corporate interests driving the United States, its resources, and policy, have invoked dead children in the latest and grisliest propaganda campaign yet, directed at the American public to build support for an otherwise unjustified and universally unwanted war with Syria. You may have read that Boehner is promising his oily allies an effort to gut the Department of the Interior's modest fracking regulations-- despite new findings in Ohio that show, conclusively, that fracking there has triggered over 100 earthquakes.
Thirteen Iraqis were killed today, while the remains of 80 Kurds killed during the 1980s in the Anfal campaign were discovered in a mass grave.

A U.S. congressman who has read the Obama administration’s classified version of intelligence on the alleged Syrian poison gas attack says the report is only 12 pages – just three times longer than the sketchy unclassified public version – and is supported by no additional hard evidence.
With this impending insane war by the United States and their masters in the criminal and terrorist state of Israel, it is important to bring forward valuable information from time to time to understand the real enemy of all mankind, which are not the Arabs as the Jewish run mainstream media continues to falsely promote, but the Jews themselves....I want to present here a new article, from Joe Cortina, who writes the very important blog: "My Name Is Joe Cortina" at www.mynameisjoecortina.wordpress.com, entitled: "It Wasn't The Arabs
The rush to war is on... Right now, the US has moved large naval forces into the Eastern Mediterranean Sea and has placed its operatives in and around Syria for the planned assault on that innocent nation that could happen as early as this coming Tuesday! It is sickening to see that the absolutely brainwashed and ignorant American public are still not doing enough to stop this insane rush to war based on lies.....But today there is some good news... The United States has been banking on a "coalition" of many allied nations to support it when it launches its attack on Syria.

Chris Stewart's Utah congressional district-- the 2nd-- is gigantic, basically most of the western part of the state and almost half the southern part of the state. But most of the population is in the far northeast corner of the district, the northern part of Salt Lake City, the city's western suburbs and West Valley.

Time magazine’s Michael Crowley (9/9/13) offers an analysis of how the Syrian situation reflects on Barack Obama’s presidency:
Last week we wrote about what you could do to stop the war in Syria. This week we can say – many Americans are taking the action needed to stop this war.
If we succeed, and it is still a very big ‘if,’ it will be a historic. We cannot remember when the American people stopped a war after a president said he wanted to bomb a country.
The transpartisan Beltway elites do not appreciate some populist-oriented smarty pants like Alan Grayson coming into their claustrophobia, tightly shut little club house and shining a spotlight on their incompetence, their very profitable incompetence. The Establishment is fuming at a very independent-minded-- and very loud and very brilliant-- Alan Grayson. Remember when Boehner kicked Justin Amash off his committee for butting in? That was nothing compared to how angry the ruling elites are right now towards Grayson.

The momentum for war seems to have slowed down as President Obama turns to Congress to get the go-ahead for military action against Syria. Despite Obama’s surprise U-turn on Syria, the US administration is said to retain ‘its right’ to strike regardless of a vote in Congress, which could come as early as next week.
As we approach the 12th anniversary of 9/11, it is time for 9/11 truth to mature as a movement before it stagnates into insignificance. Either the movement will live up to its potential by naming names and identifying suspects in the crime, or it will become another JFK assassination investigation, doomed to spend half a century fighting pointless territorial battles while the real perpetrators walk free. Join us for this 9/11 anniversary edition of The Corbett Report as we ask the question and demand an answer: Who was really behind the attacks?

Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff says she will decide on whether to call off her visit to the United States over allegations of Washington’s spying on her based on President Barack Obama’s full response.
On Friday, Obama said that his administration would work with the Brazilian and Mexican governments to resolve tensions over allegations of spying.
No matter how many times we’ve seen it before, the frenzy for launching a military attack on another country is – to the extent we’re not numb – profoundly upsetting. Tanked up with talking points in Washington, top officials drive policy while intoxicated with what Martin Luther King Jr. called "the madness of militarism," and most media coverage becomes similarly unhinged. That’s where we are now.

A new EU court ruling that rejected sanctions on a number of Iranian entities has drawn the ire of the United States, prompting Washington to extend its illegal embargoes against more individuals and businesses.
The EU’s General Court in Luxembourg lifted the bloc’s sanctions against seven Iranian companies on Friday, ruling that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to justify the embargoes.
