By Thomas S. Harrington | CounterPunch | August 2, 2016 Not that long ago in Europe, one had to go to a church, a temple or a mosque to imbibe industrial quantities of religious doctrine. Since the beginning of the 21st century, however, it has become possible to access it in a great and self-satisfied […]
Acclaimed author and vice-president of the American Anti-Imperialist League, Mark Twain, popularized the expression, “There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.” Bureaucrats revel in distorting life’s spontaneous order with data-driven government policies and interventions. They hide behind their numbers to provide a facade of respectability, or in other instances, employ data to argue conclusions that are just as absurd as the State’s present brutality and thievery.

Irrussianality | August 1, 2016 A couple of newspaper articles caught my attention this weekend. The first was in The Times, and claimed the following: President Putin has launched a secret propaganda assault on Britain from within its own borders, The Times can reveal. The Kremlin is spreading disinformation through a newly opened British bureau for its […]
The following was taped over a year ago, but it’s one of the most interesting interviews I’ve seen in a while. Robert David Steele is someone who’s work I have highlighted in the past (link at the end), and who exhibits tremendous expertise and insight on a remarkably wide range of subjects.
The interviewer is Sean Stone (Oliver Stone’s son), and it explores topics as varied as Bernie Sanders, the TPP, who killed JFK and MLK, U.S. electoral reform, the terror attacks of 9/11, and false flag operations generally. I strongly suggest you take the time.

Bernie Sanders supporters are flocking to Jill Stein, the presumptive Green Party presidential candidate, with donations to her campaign exploding nearly 1000% after he endorsed Hillary Clinton. Stein salutes Sanders for the progressive populist movement he began and says it is up to her to carry the baton. Can she do it? Critics say her radical […]
I have been a busy man since my return from a much needed vacation last week.... I have finally cleared up most of my personal business, and for a change may actually be able to post a few articles here at this blog over the next few days! Yes, personal and family requirements do take precedence always, and that means that writings at this blog do suffer from time to time...

After stringently denying any personal links […]

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) officials said last week that an unapproved variety of wheat was found growing in a Washington state field, though there are no signs that it made its way into commercial grain shipments.
The Monsanto-produced wheat is a RoundUp-resistant variety that was never commercially released. USDA officials said it was discovered in a farmer’s planted field. Department officials are in the process of testing the farmer’s wheat harvest for the GMO variety, but so far none has been found.

(ANTIMEDIA) — As the race for the White House heats up, WikiLeaks continues to unveil sensitive information showing ties between the Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, foreign governments, and corrupt companies.
This morning, New York's Richard Hanna became the first Republican congressman to publicly announce he's actually voting for Hillary Clinton, telling his constituents that Trump is "unfit to serve our party and cannot lead this country." It's politically safe for him; he's retiring in January.
(ANTIWAR) Citing a formal request from the UN-backed “unity government,” US warplanes today began a substantial bombing campaign against the city of Sirte, an ISIS-held city on Libya’s central coast. Details are scant, but early reports detail “heavy losses” among ISIS forces.
I would say, yes, the helicopter was shot down with US weapons. And possibly by NATO special operatives embedded with terrorists. As mentioned yesterday- I'll relink recent related posts at the bottom.Reuters

Hardline foreign policy prevails By Philip Giraldi • Unz Review • August 2, 2016 The mass migration of apparently hundreds of nominally GOP neocon apparatchiks to the Hillary Clinton camp has moved Democratic Party foreign policy farther to the right, not that the presidential nominee herself needed much persuading. On July 25 he mandated that an economic group called the Stolypin Club prepare their proposals to spur growth revival to be presented to the government by the Fourth Quarter of this year.
