Today, everyone is talking about Michael Morell’s Op-Ed in the New York Times in which the former acting director of the CIA strongly endorses Hillary Clinton while calling Donald Trump “an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.”
At the end of the piece the New York Times informs readers that:
Richard Spencer is President of The National Policy Institute and Editor of Washington Summit Publishers, Radix Journal, and RadixJournal.com. He was also formerly an Assistant Editor at The American Conservative magazine and Executive Editor of Taki's Magazine. Richard attended University of Virginia, University of Chicago, and was a doctoral student at Duke University before dropping out to pursue a life of thought-crime. As a result, he was arrested in Hungary at the behest of Viktor Orban and, more recently, has been formally banned from the United Kingdom.
An architect of the federal healthcare law said last year that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” helped Congress approve ObamaCare.
He suggested that many lawmakers and voters didn’t know what was in the law or how its financing worked, and that this helped it win approval.
August 5, 2016 By Greg Mitchell, Pressing IssuesI've posted dozens of pieces about the atomic bombing (before and after) of Japan in August 1945. Here's a story, from my book Atomic Cover-Up, on what happened, weeks later, when the first U.S. troops arrived. On September 8, General Thomas F. Ferrell arrived in Hiroshima with a radiologist and two physicists from Los Alamos, ordered by Manhattan Project chief General Leslie Groves to return to Tokyo the following day with preliminary findings. There was some urgency.
(ANTIMEDIA) The skies above the Syrian city of Aleppo filled with smoke earlier this week as children burned tires to create a makeshift no-fly zone in a last-ditch effort to protect their homes.
For the last week, my articles at this blog have concentrated primarily on the ongoing war in Syria, especially the battle to free Aleppo from the control of the hired mercenaries of the United States.... Yes, these reports are very important, but periodically it is nice to bring something else forward here for everyone to see...I came across the following article that I found to be very true and very refreshing...

Metaphysical healers, metaphysical councilors, metaphysical vibrations … metaphysical this – metaphysical that. Everybody loves metaphysics. But what does this word really mean?
Leave it to Mr. Trumpanzee and his evangelical allies to redefine "classy"No legitimate news organizations have published any of the steamy testimonials from Melania Knauss' clients from when she was making her living as a call girl before she met the Trumpanzee at the Kit Kat Club and hooked the supposed billionaire.
Richard Klein is one of the most important people in the entertainment industry that you have never heard of - a former State Department employee who now works for McLarty Associates - an elite Washington DC law firm - as their liaison to Hollywood. Klein has worked with most of the major studios on some of the biggest film series, from Transformers to James Bond to Fast & Furious, alongside government agencies on both sides of the Atlantic including the CIA.
It’s interesting that accusations that Putin is trying to swing the election to Trump peaked, for now, in the midst of the Democratic Convention, and distracted nicely from what was revealed in the hacked emails. Hmmm.
Putin was then ushered off stage, to be replaced by the Wrath of Khan and their son, who died in Iraq 12 years ago. I wonder now when Putin will be brought back. He will of course be brought back, being far too good a bad guy to waste in this most obscene of elections.

(ZHE) Even as the Obama administration is embroiled in a scandal involving the paradropping of a crate of cash with $400 million in it in non-USD denominated bills to Iran, the same Iran continues to heap scorn upon the US president, culminating yesterday with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khemenei, accusing the U.S. of creating and supporting ISIS as a means of creating conflict among Muslims and promoting a false form of Islam in the world.

(MEE) Islamic State fighters may have captured up to 3,000 fleeing Iraqi villagers on Thursday and subsequently killed 12 of them, the UN refugee agency UNHCR has said.
For 40 years, everything about Gil Grunbaum's life was a lie, including his name. He had been stolen from his mother moments after she gave birth in an Israeli hospital. His story would be disturbing enough if it was unique, but growing evidence suggests that thousands of children could have been similarly abducted in Israel's first decade.
(ANTIWAR) The US policy of arming “moderate” rebel factions in Syria has a lot of problems, but none bigger than the Nour al-Din al-Zinki, a Free Syrian Army (FSA) linked group that’s been getting US aid for quite some time, and also grabbing headlines for a series of incidents.

The latest jobs report significantly beat forecasts by 75,000 [Xinhua]
The Bureau of Labor Statistics said in its latest report Friday that the US economy added 255,000 jobs in July, beating forecasts and registering at the highest level so far in 2016.
The upbeat report comes after less than encouraging data last week which showed that US GDP growth had slowed significantly.

Nigerian forces, backed by other West African military units, have seized territory from Boko Haram in the northeast of the country [Xinhua]
While the Islamic state has been losing vital territory in both Syria and Iraq it has at the same time expanded its zone of influence in Africa and other areas.
Anti-terrorism experts now believe that Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has increased its influence over the Nigerian islamist extremist group Boko Haram.
The Florida Democratic Party has been pretty moribund in recent years, confining itself in a few small urban ghettos and leaving progressive ideas and values without champions in vast swathes of the state. Southwest Florida is pretty much all red now thanks to Florida Democratic Party neglect and negligence.
By Diana Johnstone | CounterPunch | August 5, 2016 On his visit to Hiroshima last May, Obama did not, as some had vainly hoped he might, apologize for the August 6, 1945 atomic bombing of the city. Instead he gave a high-sounding speech against war. He did this as he was waging ongoing drone war […]
A new study suggests that those who consume animal proteins are at a higher risk for death than those who do not. This is even true when those who do not ingest animal proteins are heavy drinkers and smokers. The good news here is that replacing animal proteins with plant proteins seems to significantly reduce the mortality risk.

Wes Bertrand and I discuss facets of healing trauma and activating 7th pillar true-self motivation. This is the fourth part in our rebooted series based on Nathaniel Branden's book, Six Pillars of Self-Esteem. This extension to the original series focuses on Branden's concluding chapter and what he calls the "seventh pillar." We will be reviewing each of the six pillars; the previous discussions focused on the what and the why of those practices, and this time we turn our attention to the how.

Some could have been excused for dismissing initial qualms surrounding the GPS-based augmented reality game, Pokemon Go. The game has swept the world, but its development is surrounded by disturbing connections between its developer Niantic, its former parent company Google, and the US State Department.
But while many before could only speculate as to the reason the US State Department may have been interested in developing such a game, it appears now there is at least a partial answer.
