Danton et FarentholdThe French Revolution spawned many important things aside from the motto "Liberté, égalité, fraternité." Before the French Revolution, for example, a debauched and unaccountable monarchy and aristocracy ruled mankind with impunity and conspired with the Established religions to give that the imprimatur of ruling by "Divine Right." Things really did change because of the monumental revolution, even if they've slipped back in the ancien direction-- substitute plutocr

The US refuses to cut off its military aid to Egypt as the American military contractors are the major beneficiaries of the scenario, a report says.
As Egypt’s political crisis escalates, supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi accuse the local media – both state-run and private – of ignoring pro-Morsi demonstrations and covering up massive rights abuses. “Egyptian television is desperately trying to cover up the murder of hundreds of unarmed protesters in Cairo’s Rabaa al-Adawiya Square,” leading Muslim Brotherhood member […]
At least 20 people were killed and 53 more were wounded in fresh attacks. Once again, insurgents targeted a soccer game and a cafe.

Pepe EscobarRussia TodayEgypt's ‘bloodbath that is not a bloodbath’ has shown that the forces of hardcore suppression and corruption reign supreme, while foreign interests - the House of Saud, Israel and the Pentagon - support the military's merciless strategy.Stop. What? You think right-wing hate talker Mark Levin shouldn't moderate GOP presidential debates just 'cause he's said, "I will do everything I can, in my little way, to make sure [Chris Christie] is not the nominee"?by KenSo let's pretend that you're a large-ish political party and you occasionally like to run candidates for high political office, possibly including president of the United States.

Georgia, U.S. discuss military cooperation

Tbilisi: Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania, who is on an official visit to Germany, has met with the commander of U.S. forces in Europe, Lieutenant General Donald Campbell and Deputy Commander of U.S. Naval Forces in Europe, General Richard Tryon.
As I stated in the last article, I have no fear of promoting the fine work of many other writers out there that are fighting this war against Jewish domination... One such writer in particular that I have taken an interest in over the last year is JB Campbell...For this article, I want to post the first of many essays from JB Campbell that I will be presenting here at this blog for everyone to view for themselves...

Defending themselves by all means available is the Kurdish Popular Defense Units’ (YPG) last resort in Syria, the group’s spokesperson Redor Khalil told RT.
Amid Western inaction and Russian condemnation of massacres against the Kurds, Redor Khalil said that evidence is readily available to support the injustice perpetrated against the Kurdish people by militants sponsored from abroad – if anybody were to listen.

It is perhaps one of those rare times that Israel openly clarifies its position regarding the Syrian crisis, and from the mouths of high-ranking officials: the Resistance cannot be allowed to win.

It is the last refuge of a statist who is losing an argument: “…but what about the roads?” This is supposed to be the strongest argument for why we need a centralized authority with a monopoly right to initiate violence, but in fact it is one of the strongest arguments for how anarchy can (and does) work. Join us today on The Corbett Report as we explore some of the surprising evidence showing how anarchy can bring peace to our roads…and our society.
The "most Democratic" congressional district in Oklahoma is the 5th, which includes Oklahoma City, Edmund and Shawnee. The PVI is "only" R+12 and it's the only district in the state where Obama broke 40-- albeit barely-- against McCain and also against Romney. (Obama won 33% statewide last year.) The incumbent is Tea Party extremist James Lankford and last year his Democratic opponent was Tom Guild, who scored 37%, just a percent below the only Democratic candidate the DCCC got behind, very conservative Blue Dog Rob Wallace in the second district.

Earlier this year, film-maker and 9/11 Truth activist Tony Rooke was summonsed to court for not paying his TV licence. In his defence, he appealed to the Terrorism Act 2000, arguing that much of the BBC's coverage of 9/11 (and 7/7 - the London Bombings) had been so disingenuous as to serve as a cover-up for the real criminals in each case, and that to have paid his licence fee to the BBC would have been to have committed a much more serious offence under the Act.

McConnell is an ugly example of the American ruling elites who have perverted democracy for the advancement of their own careers. At this point, it almost doesn't matter if McConnell is a conservative or a liberal; all that matters is that he represents Mitch McConnell in the U.S. Senate, not the working families of Kentucky.

The “Israel Lobby” threatens freedom of speech in Germany

What is the state? In the Lockean language of the U.S. founding documents, it is the apparatus of government "instituted among Men" to secure "certain unalienable Rights" such as "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness". A more cynical perspective, informed by the experience of the 20th century, would term the state a protection racket […]
Sen. Rand Paul’s bill to cut off US aid to Egypt certainly was prescient, wasn’t it? The bill failed in the Senate, 86 to 13, on account of heavy lobbying by AIPAC, the pro-Israel advocacy group which packs a powerful punch on Capitol Hill. To those unlettered in the intricacies of American foreign policy, this […]

It has also demonstrated a unique willingness to take military action to curb such endeavors from coming to fruition. Israeli air strikes […]

You've probably seen a parade of Republican clowns wooing teabaggers by insisting that the government be sent into bankruptcy unless Obama agrees to defund the Affordable Care Act. That's all their irresponsible-- and/or delusional playing for the cameras. Most of the noise has been coming from far right Confederates in all white gerrymandered districts. But Wednesday Tom McClintock was up to the same trick in California. Watch him up top. His district is very safe-- with a PVI of R+10.
At least 40 people were killed and 115 more were wounded in the today's attacks. The Iraqi government also reported the deaths of 38 suspects during a recent security operation in Anbar province. According to the Wall Street Journal of August 14, 2013, top members of the Egyptian military junta now ruling that nation after the coup are Israeli assets. The U.S. media are not calling the murder of more than 500 protestors a massacre because the killers are Israeli allies. In the eyes of the American media, everything that happens in the Middle East is weighed on the Talmudic scale of whether the action or event benefits or harms the Israeli government.Morsi was an ally of Hamas, therefore the military that overthrew Morsi, a man elected in a democratic vote, cannot be that bad.
