Free Market Economics: Still Alive in 2018?
Free market economics hasn’t been faring well lately, or so it might seem. A 2016 Harvard poll purported to show that young Americans reject free market capitalism. Senator Bernie Sanders almost won the 2016 Democratic party nomination. Are these signs that government planning and economic management are regaining popularity? Maybe, but a closer examination of the evidence casts doubt on that proposition.

It’s 2018. Time To Step Things Up.
Iranian regime change. Korean nuclear war. Alt media censorship. There are a lot of reasons to be concerned about the year ahead as we ease our way into 2018. That's why my New Year resolution is to redouble my efforts and put out even more material this year. I need you to help me spread the word about these podcasts, videos, interviews and articles, and to help you do that I'm going to be concentrating more effort on alternative social media platforms. Your help will be appreciated. -
Russiagate Turns On Its Originators
Russiagate Turns On Its Originators
Paul Craig Roberts
Russiagate originated in a conspiracy between the military/security complex, the Clinton-controlled Democratic National Committee, and the liberal/progressive/left. The goal of the military/security complex is to protect its out-sized budget and power by preventing President Trump from normalizing relations with Russia. Hillary and the DNC want to explain away their election loss by blaming a Trump/Putin conspiracy to steal the election. The liberal/progressive/left want Trump driven from office. -

2017 Crushed A Major Temperature Record And Scientists Are Sounding The Alarm
It’s been very cold over North America for days, but globally, 2017 has ended up smashing the record for the hottest year on record without an El Niño. And that has scientists worried, since the warmest years usually happen when the long-term human-caused global warming trend gets a short-term boost from an El Niño’s enhanced warming in the tropical Pacific.[Read More...]

Trashing The Planet For Profit
Before I began this essay I read through some of my past forays that mentioned climate change and capitalism, the first I think, being in 2006 where I opined in a piece on the ‘War on Terror’: Perhaps the impending climate catastrophe as well as the genocidal actions of the US will force us to finally start thinking and acting[Read More...]

Who Really Defeated ISIS?
No sooner had ISIS appeared than it went on a head chopping binge that repulsed and frightened the US public. Washington officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry rang the alarm that this hoard of Islamic crazies wanted to invade the US and "kill us all". A well-compliant mainstream media swallowed Washington's script and regurgitated it to frighten a US public. The public gave its silent consent for more war really aimed at Bashar al-Assad.

How Europe Built Its Own Funeral Pyre, Then Leapt In

Midnight Meme Of The Day!
-by NoahThis is a bit of a tough decision for me, not in the result but in the how. If I came upon this golden opportunity to be the instrument of karma, I might be inclined to grab a bolt cutter and lop off his tiny fingers one by one, slowly. Or, I might just playfully indulge in a happy little game of "this little piggy."But, let me show you what my first thought was when I saw today's meme.

What the Media Thinks About Protests in Iran
Now we know that the protests that began in the Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province at the very end of December and that were quick to spread all over the country were provoked by repeated calls for acts of civil disobedience voiced by anonymous provocateurs on the Telegram. The absolute majority of international media sources was quick to point out that by pulling the strings those unnamed puppeteers managed to trigger one of the gravest political crises that Iran has seen in a decade. -

GMOs, Global Agribusiness And The Destruction of Choice
One of the myths perpetuated by the pro-GMO (genetically modified organisms) lobby is that critics of GMOs in agriculture are denying choice to farmers and have an ideological agenda. The narrative is that farmers should have access to a range of tools and technologies, including GM crops. Before addressing this issue, we should remind ourselves that GMOs have been[Read More...]

Why The ‘Progressive’ Historian Stephen Cohen Refuses to Call a U.S. Coup a “Coup”
The most important historical event of recent times was a coup that occurred in 2014 and caused what’s now called ‘the new Cold War’, which is even worse than the original one was; and, yet, Western ‘news’media never reported the coup as being anything like what it was, when it happened; and, it still isn’t being recognized by Western[Read More...]

Yes, Palestinians Teach Their Children To Hate The Jewish State
Zionism [see http://state-of-terror.net/] is an insidious ideology. So, it is no wonder that people end up having ideas about certain things, like the nature of Israel, the Zionist Jewish state, or[Read More...]

Worst White House Occupant Ever? What About His GOP Enablers?
Señor Trumpanzee is flipping out over Michael Wolff’s book-- completely deranged-- and claiming he’s “stable” and “a genius” and that Bannon has an 80 IQ. Trump is insane and should be impeached immediately under the terms of the 25th Amendment. The voters should deal with the Republicans who, knowing full well that Trump is a dangerous sociopath, enabled him anyway-- especially Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

A Presidency That Is Not Just Illegitimate But Abnormal As Well
Unless you’re a right-wing extremist you probably don’t know who Stephen Hayes, editor of the Weekly Standard, is-- although they often trot him out on Fox News, CNN and CNBC as a Republican commentator. Aside from a couple of crackpot biographies on Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz, he’s best known as a writer for an insane book about how Saddam Hussein was working with al Qaeda (a GOP fantasy that has been proven wrong).
