Turning a Threat into a Hoax

Everyone knows that the official data about Covid-19 infections and deaths are not consistent among countries and are not complete because of inadequate testing and the unknown number of cases that are too mild to be detected. However, the reported deaths are real and even prior condition deaths are provoked by virus infection.

Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian man with mental disability in East Jerusalem on Saturday morning, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The American empire wanted to oust Muammar Gaddafi for decades. He remained in power as he carefully balanced interests in Libya’s complex tribal society and kept the military under control. Gaddafi was popular since he invested Libya’s oil wealth improving the lives of Libyans rather than in Western banks. Before its 2011 destruction, Libyans were the wealthiest in all of Africa. President Obama chose to destroy Libya despite meeting with Gaddafi after winning the Nobel Peace Prize. His Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was the strongest advocate for this war crime.
I don't understand exactly why, but there was a time when I was looking at the daily COVID statistics and watching Califiornia with so much lower numbers than New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and other early states, and I felt some kind of primitive, tribal pride in my state (although I was born and raised in New York and lived for a time in New Jersey and in Massachusetts). Anyway, that's been over for a while.
Catte Black It probably hasn’t passed anyone by that the covid19 crisis, whether manufactured or exploited, has caused great schisms in the alternative media. Almost from day one there was a divide between those who opted to accept and even endorse the rollout of authoritarian measures by governments around the world as ‘necessary evils’ (or …
I despise modern European monarchies. Words cannot put to screen just how repulsive this 21st century aristocracy is to me personally. At first, one would think that this opinion comes from the fact that I am American, you know whole Article 1, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution and that 1776 thing. But that is simply not the case, when it comes to hereditary monarchies my big ideological problem comes from the “hereditary” part, not so much the “monarchy” part.

Thousands of U.S. and Polish soldiers will participate in the drills in June, marking the first time since the coronavirus crisis began. American troops will assemble for a large-scale exercise in Europe.
At the same time, the Russian government decided to hold the military parade in Moscow in June.
The decision to hold these military activities is carrying on with the COVID pandemic. So here is the question – what is more important to show off military power or to save people’s lives?
T.J. COLES
In November 2019, as experts warned that a novel coronavirus was likely to develop in the near-future, NATO boasted that its European Allies, including the UK, as well as Canada, were boosting their military budgets by an average of 4.6 percent, or an additional $130bn since 2016. The implication is that this increase in military spending is at the expense of healthcare, which is being privatized worldwide.

Economists had projected a 0.6% contraction in the first quarter, and annual projections were much worse. As recently as April 30, Sweden’s central bank, the Riksbank, was predicting an economic contraction between 6.9 and 9.7 percent for 2020.
Sweden's GDP growth is a stark contrast to other nations.
“Being black in America should not be a death sentence” – so said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey following the shocking, gruesome killing of George Floyd by a police officer on the streets of Saint Paul.
Abandon Ridiculous Two-Metre Rule I’ve written a piece in today’s Telegraph entitled: “For the sake of our economy, we need to scrap the absurd two-metre rule.” I point out that this and other over-cautious social-distancing rules will mean our economy is permanently stuck in second gear. For most shops, the only way to keep customers …

We are entering the final stages of the election to decide who will head the most powerful nation on Earth. That inevitably means the progressive and dissident left in the U.S. are again being deluged with arguments to vote for the lesser-evil candidate.

The president has made clear that we have a tried and true practice here. We know how to win these races and we know how to spend the adversary into oblivion. If we have to, we will, but we sure would like to avoid it.

President Donald Trump is right that social media companies have been targeting conservatives. Twitter, in particular, has been engaging in a relentless attack on the American political process by censoring conservatives.
Now that has escalated to fact-checking the president nearly five months from a presidential election.

Biden’s gaffe and Burchard’s slur have this in common: Both manifest a measure of condescension toward a large bloc of voters. Hillary Clinton did something similar in 2016…
On May 28th, we reported on how the Orthodox Church in the United States appears to have forsaken faith in Christ for fear of COVID-19. This situation is of course, not limited to Orthodoxy, as almost every church congregation throughout the land has acquiesced to the “experts” who insist that this virus is somehow more powerful than God, or are at least distracted by the secularist gosepl: “nothing is more important than your health” and its underlying premise: “there is no life beyond this one. No resurrection.

But once it has achieved that goal and holds the reins of power, the limits of this political liberalism quickly become apparent. The law, which it once used as a weapon to fight entrenched injustice, suddenly becomes “law and order”, a tool for the defence of the liberal status quo.

A hundred years ago in response to the horror of WWI, the great Randolph Bourne famously pronounced the truth that “War is the Health of the State.” War Is The Health of the State (WITH). Annie Karni reported at the NY Times today that another bunch of #NeverTrump Republicans-- this one led by Bill Kristof, Sarah Longwell and former Jeb Bush top aide Tim Miller-- has started a well-funded campaign against Trump, pushing a perspective on Republicans that basically tells them to hold their noses and vote for Biden. The campaign is being run under the ad hoc Republican Voters Against Trump committee.

I have been watching once again the continuing riots that seem to be continuing unabated in Minneapolis Minnesota, now over 3 days since that video came out showing a "George Floyd" being basically smothered to death under the knee of a Minneapolis "police officer"....I have already shown, thanks to Jim Stone's findings, that there are so many questions about this "incident" that has triggered so much violence in not only Minneapolis, but right across the entire United States as well....
