DisInfoWars with Tom Secker: The Power of Nightmares

The Power of Nightmares was possibly the last great documentary series produced by the BBC. A decade after it was first broadcast I look back at the series, offering a brief review before using this as a basis for analyzing recent events. I discuss the criticism of the filmmaker Adam Curtis for his superficial take on 9/11, before exploring the 'defection' of Jamal Al Fadl, an associate of Osama Bin Laden. I also examine author Jason Burke's claim that 'Al Qaeda doesn't exist' and thus that there is no guiding force behind the globalization of Islamism.

DisInfoWars with Tom Secker- 9/11 and Gladio B

From triple agents training terrorists in the mountains of Turkey to the CIA cable that was never sent, this episode examines the context around 9/11 to identify several people and part of the story of how the 9/11 attacks were a Gladio operation. I focus in on two of the supposed hijackers - Nawaf Al Hazmi and Khalid Al Mihdhar - and their connections to intelligence assets Luai Sakra and Anwar Al Awlaki, and how the CIA's failure to notify the FBI about them is a strong indication that information was being compartmentalized to enable and protect this black operation.

Porkins Great Game episode 7 Gladio B Extravaganza

On this episode Christoph and I discuss several recent Gladio B revelations from Russia, China and even Kyrgyzstan.  First we update listeners on the Boris Nemstov assassination investigation.  We discuss how the case has hit a brick wall in terms of suspects and progress.  We explain how the main suspect, Zaur Dadev, has recanted almost his entire story.  We also discuss how alleged ringleader Ruslan Geremeev has vanished from Russia and is most likely hiding out in Dubai.  We then move onto our first Gladio B story with the recent “revelation” from Putin that the FSB has intercepted commu

BFP Roundtable: Who is Putin & Why has he let his nation become encircled by NATO

In this second episode of the new BFP Roundtable series Pearse Redmond, Sibel Edmonds and Tom Secker discuss the recent “revelation” from Putin regarding Gladio B operations in Chechnya. They start with the basic facts that Putin has laid out: intercepts obtained by the FSB show that US officials in Azerbaijan were supporting and backing Chechen rebels during the early 2000’s.
