The Democrat Party swings way to the left, and is winning as it does [Video]

Fox News hosts Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham shared a consistent observation about the Democrat Party in the United States. That observation is that the party is succeeding when its candidates are very hard-left, social Democrat a-la George Soros and Bernie Sanders types.
New York’s Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Florida’s Andrew Gillum, Nebraska’s Kara Eastman, Kerri Evelyn Harris of Delaware, and as of Tuesday night, Boston City Councilor Ayanna Pressley, all are extreme left-wing progressives who are winning primary races in their respective areas, upsetting the “establishment” Democrats seeking election to the same gubernatorial or representative positions. Where Donald Trump won by being unapologetically conservative, these candidates make the current crop of liberals look like Ronald Reagan by comparison.

This is of significant concern. While the more “Establishment” Democrats have gone on record at times saying that attempting impeachment of President Trump is bad politics, the super progressives like the Democrat candidate for the Governor’s office in Florida, Andrew Gillum, and Tom Steyer, are strongly in favor of this move, citing their “sources” at CNN and the New York Times and Washington Post, who have graciously provided about two years’ worth of narrative to support their claims that the President stands guilty of the “high crimes and misdemeanors” that require impeachment proceedings to take place.

It doesn’t matter that none of this is actually true.

The fact that CNN, the Times, the Post and many other publications have been in lockstep with their attacks, and the vast outnumbering of conservative cable network Fox News deepens the rhetorical divide. In a video from RT America, this divide was seen as part of the cause of CNN’s declining ratings, but another effect is to deepen the rhetorical divide between liberal and conservative viewpoints and drive a wall between potential voters, making it very difficult, or nearly impossible to hold civilized, rational political discourse.
This is dangerous. To not agree on a viewpoint is no disaster. But to be unable to even hear the opposing side without resorting to violence, whether it be verbal or physical – this shows an electorate “mob” that is not the required element for our Representative Republic.
