“Now let us begin. Now let us rededicate ourselves to the long and bitter, but beautiful, struggle for a new world… Shall we say the odds are too great? … the struggle is too hard? … and we send our deepest regrets? Or will there be another message — of longing, of hope, of solidarity… The choice is ours, and though we might prefer it otherwise, we must choose in this crucial moment of human history.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Beyond Vietnam

Listen. If you want to curse, fine. Do it with some class. Never as a substitution for wit. Dig? There’s an art to it. But as evidenced by the organically unimaginative and chronically unfunny, lacing a story with gratuitous F-bombs has become the norm. It’s puerile and jejune and extremely low rent. It’s the mainstay of morning zoo-show anachronisms and trite broadcasting swill. Herein, is my disquisition and tribute to the noble art of cursing and cussing. There’s a place for the off-color and scabrous but only if well-timed and deftly placed.

US Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, also known as Monsanto’s errand boy, sent a letter to media outlets on May 1st of this year stating that the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has, for a long time now, offered a Process Verified non-GMO label to food manufacturers. In the least, the claim has kicked up some dust to make understanding the USDA non-GM label claims a little difficult to see through.
For many years now it has been widely known that smoking, certain dietary factors, obesity, and many other factors are major contributors to cancer incidence. However, a growing body of research has shown that specific changes in the intestinal flora, or dysbiosis, can be found in the stools or on the colonic walls of patients with diseases such as colon cancer.
While this subject matter may not be the most pleasant to read or hear about, for some the return to good health greatly depends on it. Truthfully, our digestion and the way in which we go to the bathroom can have a great impact on one’s health. Keep reading to learn how.
Simply put, human anatomy is designed so that proper elimination is best performed while squatting. There are certain things that occur physiologically by squatting which do not happen when one sits idly on the toilet seat. Herein lies the key to correctly eliminating each and every day.

Increased state surveillance can be thought of in several different ways, depending on where you stand. Described uncharitably, it’s a Faustian bargain that dissolves from within the very liberty and democracy it’s meant to defend. Viewed less negatively, it’s a social contract between state and citizen, albeit a contract one of the parties was never […]
A quiet meeting this past March in Saudi Arabia, and a recent anonymous leak from the Israeli military, set the stage for what may be a new and wider war in the Middle East. Gathering in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh were Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, newly crowned Saudi King Salman, and the […]
The United States government is considering expanding training sites in Iraq, which would require hundreds more U.S. troops, but the overall military strategy will go unchanged. Parliamentary Speaker Salim al-Jabouri said today that three things are needed to defeat the Islamic State militants. They are international help, restructuring the military, and empowering local communities, particularly […]
I was born in NYC and my parents moved to Nassau County when I was a kid so they could raise me and my sisters in the suburbs. That's a typical story for folks who live in Nassau County today. My folks moved to Valley Stream first and then out to Roosevelt, both of which are in NY-04, the Nassau County district represented by conservative New Dem Kathleen Rice. And Rice, a former Nassau County District Attorney, has a similar story.

This year’s Bilderberg conference is about Iran. That conclusion screams at anyone who goes beyond the first line of the Bilderberg press hand out. That is why I publish an annotated guide to the Bilderberg Society. John Sawers was invited because he was the former head of MI-6 not because in retirement he has a consulting group. Or the man listed as a distinguished visiting lecturer was actually ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, the retired Marine General who had commanded US Central Command. Many of the participants are listed as diplomats or professors. Dig a little deeper.

Last week we looked at the History Channel's account of the pivotal election of 1896 ("Wall Street vs Main Street, 1896"), which pitted populist icon William Jennings Bryan (D-NE) against Wall Street shill William McKinley (R-OH). McKinley was hand-picked as the GOP nominee by the three most powerful oligarchs in America-- John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and J.P. Morgan-- along with plutocrat Ohio Senator Mark Hanna. They then endeavored, successfully, to steal the election for McKinley.

Decry Hamas, if you wish. But don't say that Israel has the right to deny Palestinians their rightsbecause they elected a government you don't like. That's been Israel's and its allies' convenient and complicit excuse in the whole, posturing 'peace process'. Stephen Fry's words only give sustenance to that duplicitous pretext.

“Whenever the winners of a war write its official history and pronounce absolution on themselves, the results are both tragic, and comic. Canada demonstrated that in spades this past week when the government-run Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) released its “official” report on the homegrown church-and-state slaughter of thousands of native children in the so-called “Indian residential school” system.
It is not the business of today's politicians to decide which energy sources will be used 85 years from now.

I have been saying since last year that the "war" in eastern Ukraine is absolutely NOT a war at all... It is a brutal and cold blooded act of murder against civilians..... The criminal US puppet regime in Kiev has been attacking and shooting civilians in the eastern provinces of Ukraine who's ONLY crime was to run a legal and very binding referendum last year where they decided legally to separate from Ukraine itself and go their own way....
