Several people in the 1900s foresaw where society was headed. C.S. Lewis was one of them. Others also recognized Scientism as not just a religion, but THE religion of the Technocrat class. It is ignorant, uninformed and, far from humble, real science. Both Technocracy and Transhumanism are products of Scientism; both promote pseudoscience as real science and then demand that we follow the fake science. Scientism is a deep philosophical religious proposition that itself masquerades as a non-religion, so it is often obscured in the havoc it causes. In 1944, C.S. Lewis reasoned that Scientism would eventually result in the Abolition of Man.
Technocracy is to the structure of society and economy as Transhumanism is to the people who live there. The common ground between Technocracy and Transhumanism is Scientism, or the worship of science. Scientism replaces God and creates its own priesthood to administer its pseudo-science to society while crushing all opposing narratives.
Scientism is a hideous religious proposition that science is god and thus requires a priesthood of scientists to administrate its dictates upon mankind. Anthony Fauci is a perfect example of such a high priest, declaring that the rest of us are too ignorant or stupid to understand the high things of his science. However, we know from other sources that Fauci is an empty suit of fraud and corruption.
Technocrats cannot conceive why people would be unhappy when their policies are so "scientifically correct". Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has all the markers of a classic Technocrat, but he lives in his own naive, dystopian bubble that is about to get popped.
Well-known economist David Stockman sounds a lot like Patrick Wood in Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation: "Today’s great threat to capitalist prosperity, personal liberty and constitutional government as we have known it is not Marxism, socialism or any other variant of traditional left-wing ideology." Scientism is the supporting philosophy of both Technocracy and Transhumanism.
