The Columbus, Ohio congressional district is safely blue. Trump wasn't even able to get 30% of the vote in 2016 and the PVI is D+19. It's the kind of district Democrats should be looking to for strong progressive leadership from bold thought-leaders. Instead, the incumbent there, Joyce Beatty, is a longtime crooked political hack and careerist.

Rachel Ventura is the progressive Democrat challenging New Dem, Bill Foster in Illinois’ 11th congressional district. Ventura currently serves on the Will County Board, representing swing district #9. To win her 2018 campaign, she challenged the local Democratic establishment, was outspent 3:1 and still dominated the 5-candidate primary field by running a well-organized grassroots campaign.
Conservative Arizona Democrats McGuire and O'HalleranBlue Dog Tom O'Halleran served in the Arizona House of Representatives (as a Republican) from 2001 to 2006. He won a state Senate seat 2006 but was defeated in a GOP primary in 2008. He never served in the same chamber at the same time with conservative Democrat Barbara McGuire. She won a state House seat in 2006 and was defeated in 2010.

Corrupt Blue Dog David Scott represents a big swath of suburban Atlanta south and west of the the city, just below Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. The biggest counties in the district (GA-13) are Cobb, Clayton, Douglas, Fulton, Henry and Fayette. Trump lost the first 5 and won in Fayette County. The PVI is a healthy, unassailable D+20.
The district just north of AOC's-- NY-16-- is solidly blue with a PVI of D+24. Trump only managed to attract 22.5% of the voters. And yet, the district's Rep. is a long-in-the-tooth fossil who does far more for the Likud Party in Israel than for the people in the Bronx and Westchester. Eliot Engel is a New Dem in a district that is far more progressive than he is.
I mostly agree with Saagar Enjeti's analysis of the way the Democratic presidential debates are turning out. But not completely.
Although there are rumors that South Jersey machine boss George Norcross is toying wit the idea of replacing Jeff Van Drew with Patrick Kennedy as the Democratic nominee for the second district seat, so far Van Drew has no primary opponent, just a 3 Republicans trying to get to the right of him, no easy task.
