Been Wondering Who On The DNC Voted Against The Climate Crisis Debate?

If you watched Biden's ghastly performance at the CNN Climate Crisis former last week, you know exactly whey his campaign fought so hard against allowing the DNC to sponsor a Climate debate. Does he even know what the Green New Deal is? It would be hard to say since he seemed so preoccupied with preparing for the big bucks fundraiser he was going to the next day-- a fundraiser filled with fracking interests and oil and gas lobbyists.People have been asking all week for a list of the DNC members who voted to kill the Climate Crisis debate. We don't know most of these names, although some-- like Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Jaime Harrison--the lobbyist running against Lindsey Graham this cycle-- are well known. Most elected officials were smart enough not to vote or to vote in favor of the debate. Nancy Pelosi, for example, didn't vote. Her daughter Christine Pelosi voted in favor of the debate, so their names aren't on the list. Christine told a group of progressive allies that "Although the result was disappointing the mobilization was incredible. We would not have had the CNN Climate Town Halls had we not pushed for a vote on a Climate Debate starting last spring-- and we have not given up on pushing a series of Platform Debates in 2020 that would of course include climate action, union jobs and just transition. Kudos to Washington State Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski and all the activists who lifted this up. The biggest devil or angel is in the Platform details so let’s keep pushing for comprehensive Inslee-level plans and green campaigns. It was heated and we were outnumbered inside the room but we know the public is ahead of us."OK, these are the bad guys who backed Perez (and on behalf of the Biden campaign) to vote down the debate. And if it looks like tiny Delaware-- population 967,171-- has more DNC members than any other state, just assume that the fix is already in. Just to give you a taste of who these people are, I spent most of my day figuring out who the As and the Bs (and Zs) are-- and included a few people who I know.
