NATO Abandons Turkey, Will NOT Support War Against Russia

21st Century Wire says…
It’s always great to start the week off with good news.
Watch a video of this report here:

Multiple officials have now stated, some on the record and others not, that NATO will not support Turkey in a war against Russia in the Middle East.
Luxembourg’s Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn told Der Spiegel:
“NATO cannot allow itself to be pulled into a military escalation with Russia as a result of the recent tensions between Russia and Turkey.”
It has been suggested that World War 3 could erupt thanks to Article 5 of the NATO treaty, which is the collective defence clause that would be invoked if any member state, such as Turkey, is attacked.
Yet, Asselborn stressed the following of Article 5:
“The guarantee is only valid when a member state is clearly attacked.”
Furthermore, a German diplomat who spoke on the condition of anonymity said this:
“We are not going to pay the price for a war started by the Turks.”
Proving a ‘clear attack’, and henceforth invoking the collective defence clause, will be next to impossible for Turkey, as after they shot down a Russian fighter jet last year the only response from Russia was diplomatic.
If that did not provoke a violent response from Russia, it is hard to imagine what else would.
Turkey’s meddling has been well documented by the Russians, and late last week Russia sought a UN Security Council resolution denouncing Turkey’s moves that seem to indicate it is planning to invade Syria.
The Turks have even openly stated that they want a 10km deep chunk of Syria completely carved off the country.
Do you think Turkey will begin to cool its actions now that NATO support is far from guaranteed?
