Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to to 22 years in prison in connection with the Capitol protest, even though he had been arrested two days prior for destroying a Black Lives Matter banner and never stepped foot in the Capitol on January 6. He had been an FBI informant in the past.

Alex Jones said that the false hype about white supremacists causing the biggest threat to America is a set up for civil war employing actors. G. Edward Griffin said, "If the government wants to take your freedoms to fight hate, you need to have hate. It makes you wonder who is paying these actors."

The FBI shot a man, Theodore Deschler, who was described by his family to be a completely disabled veteran who was unarmed when he was gunned down. Deschler’s mother was at the home when the windows were broken outand shooting erupted.
