Jay on Film. Welcome to the new show format. Now, we’re going to cover 3 films with similar themes a few times a week and hopefully a few days ahead of time so you nerds have time view or review them! The new format will allow me to streamline the process and integrate the old “esoteric” approach in with *other* types of films that aren’t just esoteric. Our first new episode will cover Childhood’s End, Spielberg’s Close Encounters and the 1988 DER BLOB!  Live at 10PM EST

Ethan invited me back to Ralph Retort to debate Apollonian pagan Mark Brahmin on the nature of the biblical texts, and in particular the law, the prophets and the wisdom texts.  It’s a heated debate that focuses on the validity of the Bible, the possibility of miracles, logical laws and fallacies, justifying claims and much more!  We had a funny, raucous live audience of 2k – Enjoy.


We had the great opportunity to meet up with and interview Jay while he was here in Nashville. We got to speak to Jay a little bit about his background and some of his ideas he writes about in his books “Esoteric Hollywood Volumes 1 and 2”.
