DSACEUR GENERAL SIR ADRIAN BRADSHAW MEETS WITH HUNGARIAN MILITARY OFFICIALS
Budapest, HUNGARY: Increased readiness measures and future exercise support were key topics of discussion between Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe (DSACEUR) General Sir Adrian Bradshaw and senior Hungarian military officials during meetings in Budapest on Friday, 25 July. Discussions reflected NATO’s continuing assurance measures and its collective resolve in dealing with the Russian/Ukraine crisis.
“Hungary is a valued NATO member that continues to perform a key role in operations,’’ said General Bradshaw. “Their contribution of over 200 soldiers to the KFOR Mission, as well as their recent contribution to ISAF have been crucial in achieving Alliance objectives,’’ he said.
“I have appreciated today’s frank discussions on how to enhance levels of engagement supporting NATO assurance measures and our future plans to enhance alliance readiness,’’ said General Bradshaw. “It is vital that all 28 nations work closely together to clearly demonstrate NATO’s resolve and commitment to collective defence,’’ he said.
