Turkey plays nuclear card, warns EU it will flood Europe with millions of refugees
Angela Merkel’s fragile deal to keep migrants (displaced by US/EU wars) contained within Turkey’s borders is about to fall apart, and with it so too goes what is left of the European Union.
What is playing out could have been predicted back when the incompetent Merkel rushed off to Ankara to make a deal with Erdogan to stem the migrant flow.
Erdogan complied with Merkel’s wishes, but the Turkish President had expected concessions for his compliance, and when Erdogan came calling, to campaign to the millions of Turks living in Germany, Merkel reneged. -

International Political Insanity: Unhinged Leaders Rule the Day
From the Philippines and the United States and Turkey to Guatemala, «populist» leaders have engaged in troubling name-calling and anti-democratic antics. In fact, the leaders who hammered out the ill-fated and hostility-ensuring Munich Agreement of 1938, including German chancellor Adolf Hitler and Italian prime minister Benito Mussolini, demonstrated more civility and decorum toward one another and for public display than many political leaders of today.

Parallels Between Syrian Civil War And Soviet-Afghan Jihad
If we were to draw parallels between the Soviet-Afghan jihad of the ‘80s and the Syrian civil war of today, the Western powers used the training camps located in the Af-Pak border regions to train and arm the Afghan Mujahideen against the Soviet troops in Afghanistan with the help of Pakistan’s intelligence agencies. Similarly, the training camps located in the[Read More...]

Turkey Risks Isolation as it Approaches Manjib
Despite the success of the combined forces of Russia, Syria and Iran in Syria against Daesh and other terror networks, the war in Syria is intensifying. This intensification, however, is not due to the continued existence and strength of the proxy militias but a result of the way external actors, especially the US and Turkey, are trying to shape the Syrian territory into “zones”.

“The mainstream news media is full of sh**” when it comes to Trump/Russia story – Jimmy Dore
It does not take much brainpower to understand that the Trump/Russia story is a complete fairytale dreamt up by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and the military industrial complex masters.
The great part about the ridiculous lack of logic employed by the liberal left, to try and make Trump appear to be a Kremlin stooge, is that you end up having progressive analysts/comedians like Jimmy Dore come out blasting “liberal left” Democrats and mainstream media pundits for their complete stupidity. -

Comparing the Dutch/Turkish row to the 2014 Ukrainian coup is insulting and wrong
Some have attempted to compare the background to the current Turkish-Dutch diplomatic row to the US, Poland, Sweden and others, funding, orchestrating and encouraging the illegal coup in Kiev in 2014.
The parallels are superficial to the point of a total distortion of recent events.
Here’s why.
