This is about redrawing the borders of the middle east- Weakening certain states. Strengthening others. This is about ethnic cleansing. Displacing persons. You want simple narratives? The war mongering media and plenty of other so called alt media sites will spoon feed you all the drivel you can stomache.I am way past believing there is any real fight between the alphabet Kurds and ISIS.Both brands are getting their support, munitions, arms and everything else from NATO/US/Israel. Knowing that to be true, I cannot believe the bogus narrative, from the war mongering, perception managing media, regarding any real fight between Kurds and ISIS.Briefly- Turkey has been cutting off KurdIShIS supply lines for a while now- Covered previously at the blog. This is most likely the reason we recently had reports of the US dropping tons of arms to Kurdish militias in Syria.

US Airdrops Weapons to Kurdish Militias in Northern Syria: Kurds & War Crimes! US Airdrops Tons & Tons of Munitions into Northern Syria- For the “good” terrorists
The alphabet Kurdish militias can't get their supplies through Turkey any longer- Making alternative routes for supplies necessary. Plus winter is coming. Additionally, it sure looks as if NATO intends to increase the warfare. Any way possible. Worsening Iraq and Syria with an eye to Turkey as well. As I've mentioned. On multiple occasions. In many posts.

Hell maybe even Saudi Arabia. One never knows how far war mongers can go!All readers here should have noticed Turkey is getting the typical demonization treatment- Yawn!Including by such alternative truthseekers (LOL) as Mike Whitney who puts NATO's treachery on Turkey and Erdogan. Cause you know there always has be a 'villain'The media promotes this narrative endlessly and way, way, way to many people get caught up in it! The question I ask of those who believe this tripe is- Why? Why believe the same old tired sad saga? You've all heard it before: Erdogan/Villain- victim/ KurdsGhadaffi/ villain- Libyan democracy lovers/ victims Assad/ villain- Syrian democracy lovers/victimsHussein/villain: Kurds allegedly gassed by Hussein, but never proven/ Victims Slobodan Milošević/ Villain- Bosnian Muslims/VictimsLots of people died. But the simplistic narratives we were all spoon fed had very little to do with reality. It's the same today as it's always been and the majority keep falling for it.Nov. 14/2015 : Unsurprising Sinjar was won from ISIS, so the media claims, today! Iraqi Kurdish fighters wrest control of Sinjar from Islamic State
Iraqi Kurdish militias battling to take back Sinjar from Islamic State militants raised a Kurdish flag in the centre of town and a top official said it was liberated Friday
But Sinjar was won from ISIS last year- That's right, it was! Do you find that odd?2014- Sinjar battle: Kurds 'take control' of large area from IS
Kurdish authorities say their Peshmerga forces have taken control of a "large area" of the Iraqi town of Sinjar from Islamic State militants.
Massoud Barzani praised the progress Peshmerga troops had made when he visited Mount Sinjar on Sunday. "Thanks to God we have opened and controlled all the roads and broken the siege imposed on Sinjar Mountain" he said.
"The liberation of the centre of Sinjar town was not part of our plans, but we have managed to take control of a large area of it," he added.Kurdish authorities first announced on Friday that they had broken the IS siege of Mount Sinjar
So Sinjar has been won twice, allegedly? Barzani and friends were involved in the battle from 2014 & Barzani participated in the latest 'liberation' of Sinjar too. Do, keep in mind the PKK & company have set their sites on the Barzani regime: PKK Challenges Barazani in Iraq- One ring to rule them all? So we are talking multiple conflicting interests, as you will read below! Sinjar 2015 and what's afoot! NYT's had an article and some good images-Reuters too-
"Why Cutting a Crucial ISIS Route May Not Stop Flow of Fighters and Supplies"??
Answer: It's not supposed to. Nothing is being cut. The supply line is being shored up, controlled extensively, bolstered... but not cut- No news reports suggest the supply lines are being cut
"The operation seeks to retake control of the highway between Raqqa, the Islamic State’s capital in Syria, and Mosul, the largest city controlled by the group in Iraq.
The secondary roads are slower, and they could flood in winter rains, but they will be sufficient to continue the flow of supplies from Raqqa to Mosul, according to Michael Knights, a military expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.“The only way to cut off this area is to establish military outposts within line of sight of each other, covered by a generous allocation of airpower,” he said
Operation Free Sinjar aims to cordon off the town, take control of Islamic State supply routes and establish a buffer zone to protect the town from artillery, a statement from the Kurdish national security council said"
Control supply routes? That's right. Not block them.Establish a buffer zone to protect the town from artillery? Hmmm..
"Sinjar is both a symbolic and a strategic prize, sitting astride the main highway linking the cities of Mosul and Raqqa"
Linking NATO's Kurdistan aka Greater Israel, between Syria and Iraq also.
"Kurdish forces and the U.S. military said (unsubstantiated gossip) the number of Islamic State fighters in the town had increased to nearly 600 after reinforcements arrived in the run-up to the offensive, which has been expected for weeks but delayed by the weather and friction between various Kurdish and Yazidi forces in Sinjar."
Friction between Kurdish and Yazidi forces? Well they are all Kurds, so what's the problem? As I've mentioned previously, there are competing forces among the Kurds- see "one ring to rule them all" above- Refresh or read today and you will understand why Barzani and the fighters loyal to that government (KDP) are present in Sinjar.
Many Yazidis lost faith in the KDP when its forces failed to protect them from Islamic State militants, who consider them devil worshippers, when the group attacked Sinjar in August 2014, systematically slaughtering, enslaving and raping thousands of Yazidis.
Except we know that Sinjar was taken back from ISIS last year by the KDP, so the statement about Yazidis losing faith can't be taken at face value. We do know there is friction between the PKK loyalists, including YPG and Gorran including the newly trained Yazidi militias AGAINST the KDP
A Syrian affiliate of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) came to the rescue, evacuating thousands of Yazidis stranded on Sinjar mountain and establishing a permanent base there.
The PKK has trained a Yazidi militia in Sinjar, while tribal groups operate independently
Interesting this next bit? It's clear the US is assisting the Kurds to take (annex) more territory for Kurdistan aka Greater Israel- I'll highlight the juicy bit!
In December 2014, Kurdish forces drove Islamic State from north of Sinjar mountain, a craggy strip about 60 km (40 miles) long, but the radical Sunni insurgents of Islamic State maintain control of the southern side where the town is located. The peshmerga currently control about 20 percent of the town.Backed by U.S. air strikes, the peshmerga have also regained most of the ground they consider historically Kurdish. Sinjar is part of the disputed territories to which both the Iraqi federal government and regional Kurdish authorities lay claim.
Clearly what is going on in Sinjar has zip to do with fighting ISIS. The US is aiding the Kurds in their annexation of Iraqi territory- Same as in Syria. Same as will be done in Turkey. The US is redrawing the borders of the ME, using ISIS as the pretext, as has been suggested here for a very long time! As the US aids the Kurds in their land thievery and nation destruction they are also ensuring a supply route to continue this redraw. Complete with ethnic cleansing and massive displacement that will see yet more movement towards Europe- As intended! Long term readers here may recall I questioned the entire Sinjar narrative as presented via the war mongering media, with very good reason The beat goes on. Expanding on the rift between Barzani KDP and the PKK/YPG/Yazidi militiash/t anonymous commenter
AnonymousNovember 12, 2015 at 7:20 AMCurious from the NYT calling out PKK allianceYazidis’ sympathies now lie strongly with the P.K.K., creating tensions over who will control the territory in the event that it is liberated from the Islamic Statehttp://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/12/world/middleeast/isis-iraq-syria.html
Before the Islamic State swept across northern Iraq, the area was a political stronghold for the Kurdistan Democratic Party of President Massoud Barzani. Analysts say the Yazidis still have not forgiven the K.D.P.
“Yazidi support has shifted away from the K.D.P.,” said Christine van den Toorn, who directs the Institute for Regional and International Studies at the American University of Iraq, Sulaimaniya. “If Sinjar is to be retaken from ISIS, repopulated and rebuilt, the K.D.P. cannot be the only liberator and ruler.”
Ethnic cleansing and displacement as mentioned- A sampling of the weapons and other aid supplied to varying alphabet Kurdish militias by NATO
-The pesh merga have received 40 mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, or MRAPs, from the United States, 15 of which have special rollers attached to clear mines. -The pesh merga have received hundreds of Milan antitank missiles from Germany and 1,000 AT4 antitank weapons from the United States. -The American-led coalition has also provided the pesh merga with a large number of small arms, including machine guns, rifles, mortar tubes and mortar rounds. As the Sinjar offensive has approached, Kurdish officials say, the coalition has been rushing in new supplies of ammunition as well.- An Italian colonel has been leading a multinational effort to train the Kurdish forces at three bases in Iraqi Kurdistan. American, Canadian and other foreign Special Operations forces have also been advising the pesh merga at their defensive positions in the Kurdish region
