Zuma must repay millions in corruption ruling

South Africa’s 11-judge Constitutional Court – the country’s highest legal authority – has said that President Jacob Zuma was in breach of the constitution even after being ordered by a corruption investigation body to pay back $16 million in government funds he spent to renovate a personal home.
Zuma issued a statement reiterating his innocence in any wrongdoing, but his office later said that he would consider the ruling and then take appropriate action.

Zuma, Hollande to chair new UN commission

HIV/Aids, Malaria and TB kill almost four million people a year , and represent a significant disease burden for low-income populations in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia [Xinhua]South African President Jacob Zuma and his French counterpart Francois Hollande will head a new UN “High Level Commission on Health, Employment and Economic Growth”.
Zuma and Hollande were appointed by the United Nations Secretary General Ban ki-Moon, said UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric.
