Memorial Day 2023: Three Marines Beaten in CA, Shootings and Fights in Chicago and Massachusetts

Violence has increased in the US following the George Floyd/ Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots of 2020. Over Memorial Day weekend, three US Marines were severely beaten in California, 44 people were shot and nine died in Chicago, and there were shootouts and a fight at a beach near Boston, Massachusetts.

New Russian Orthodox Cathedral set to open on Victory Day [Video]

The Russian Orthodox Church has been on the rise since the fall of Communism in 1991. The country has been opening new parishes at the rate of two to three per day. This new Cathedral of the Armed Forces, built at a military theme park outside Moscow, is one of the largest Christian edifices in Russia, and hence one of the largest Orthodox Christian cathedrals on the planet.

Police Deaths Up In 2017, But Not From ‘The War The On Cops’

Law Enforcement Officer deaths by firearm are down slightly through May 20th, as compared to this time last year. In 2016, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), 18 officers were killed by firearms.
So far this year, only 17 officers have been killed by firearms.
