A New Jersey cop was captured on video slamming on his brakes and almost causing the car behind him to strike him from behind.
“I braked because I thought you were going to run into me,” Clifton police officer Juan Velez explained after stepping out of the car to confront the driver behind him.
What he meant to say was that he braked in the hopes the driver would run into him, which would then allow him to kill him.
That’s just how the mind of a cop works. Making any lame excuse of how they were in fear for their life to get green light to kill you.

This rare good cop story has stirred up a debate on suicide.

Yesterday, by a margin of 241-173, the House passed an innocuously-named bill by Illinois Republican Adam Kinzinger, the No Rate Regulation of Broadband Internet Access Act (H.R. 2666). President Obama had already declared he will veto it if it ever gets to his desk and 173 Democrats voted against it. All 236 Republicans plus 5 Democratic corporate whores who crossed the aisle for this one, backed it.

New Jersey has one of the most restrictive medical marijuana programs in the nation, leaving no access to many who could be benefiting from the medicine. But now something is being done to change that – especially for women. Drawing inspiration from Whoopi Goldberg and California businesswoman Maya Elisabeth, Assemblyman Tim Eustace said he will be introducing legislation that would add women’s conditions to the approved list of ailments for medical marijuana.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has been taking steps to cut opioid misuse and overdoses by issuing guidelines to doctors who prescribe the powerful painkillers. While the recommendations are not legally binding, the agency urges physicians in the guidelines to only prescribe opioids if there are absolutely no other options, and to only prescribe a few days’ worth of pills at a time.
