John McCain calls North Korean leader ‘crazy fat kid’

John McCain is not known for subtle remarks when it comes to foreign affairs. He once offered his audience an impromptu version of the song made popular by the Beach Boys, Barbara Ann, with his original lyrics, ‘bomb-bomb-bomb, bomb-bomb Iran’.
McCain is deeply controversial to say the least. He was in Kiev agitating for regime change along side neo-Nazis during the Maidan coup in 2014.

Ukraine now bans Russia’s Samoilova from participating in Eurovision Song Contest by satellite

That Ukrainian authorities’ reason for banning Yulia Samoilova, Russia’s entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest due to be held shortly in Kiev, from entering Ukraine is to prevent any Russian participation in the Contest at all, became clearer today when the Ukrainian authorities rejected a proposal from the Contest organisers that Samoilova be allowed to participate in the Contest via satellite.

Here’s why Russia did not kill Denis Voronenkov, the fugitive Russian MP gunned down in Kiev

Within hours of confirmation that Denis Voronenkov, a former Communist deputy in the Russian parliament, has been gunned down in central Kiev reports are already circulating in the West that hint the Russian authorities are responsible.  I anticipate that within hours or days at most that claim will be made explicit.

Ukraine bans Russian singer from Eurovision Song Contest

The Ukrainian authorities have acted on their threat to ban Yulia Samoilova – the wheelchair bound signer the Russians have picked to represent them in this year’s Eurovision song contest in Kiev – from travelling to Ukraine.
The grounds for this ban are that Samoilova violated Ukrainian law by taking part in a concert in Crimea in 2015.

Kiev’s forces take control of water filtration plant in Donetsk

During an overnight offensive that yet again violated the Minsk II agreements, forces loyal to the fascist regime in Kiev took control of a water filtration plant in Donetsk. The move bears an eerie resemblance to when Al-Qaeda recently poisoned the water supply flowing to Damascus, causing a major crisis.
The leaders of the Donetsk People’s Republic have called on the international community to condemn this move.

Ukraine’s ousted President Yanukovich speaks out on Donbass

Viktor Yanukovych is not known for personal courage or taking sides. When the fascist forces overthrew his government in Ukraine in 2014, he did not stand and fight, let alone exercise his legal right to call in international allies to help him. He could well have set up his government in Kharkov or indeed in Donetsk and asked strong foreign allies to help to restore power.

Putin Blasts Merkel Over Ukraine for Complicity in ‘Kiev’s destructive acts’

21st Century Wire says…
In a summary release of a phone call between Russian President and German Chancellor from Saturday February 7th, Vladimir Putin stressed that ‘Kiev officials are trying to sabotage the execution of the Minsk Agreements and use the Normandy format to conceal their destructive acts.’
This phone call comes after a recent flare up in violence near Avdeevka in eastern Ukraine.
