Hillary's on shaky ground whenever she gets backed into a corner regarding progressive issues. She's a conservative corporate Democrat trying to pretend she's a progressive for the sake of a primary fight with someone who is and a Democratic electorate that more and more frequently identifies as progressive and liberal.

The six of them had nothing to offer America voters, just red meat to the pack of partisan jackels sitting in the audience, applauding whenever anyone said something about "bombing" or "destroying" or uttered something patently false from Hate Talk Radio about Obama or Hillary.
All the Republican candidates' tax plans head in the same direction-- an upward redistribution of wealth for the rich. In other words, regardless of which Republican you pick, if he or she is elected to the White House, the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer and the middle class will continue to disappear.
Greg Sargent's headline in today's Washington Post shocked me. It's completely accurate and totally precise but I had never seen the word "darkies" in a Post headline before. Herr Trumpf sure has done strange things to our country. Sargent says Trumpf's dark propaganda piece makes crystal clear how the fear-mongering demagogue wants to make America "great" again-- by making it white again-- and by keeping the darkies out.
This morning I spoke to an old friend, a prominent and well-off progressive attorney who lives in a red-leaning swing district with a low-profile, relatively inoffensive-- albeit very right-wing-- Republican congressman. He ran against the congressman once but, largely due to typical duplicity and incompetence from Steve Israel and the DCCC, he ended the cycle by saying he would never run again.
