Houthi Drone Attack on Saudi Military Parade in Yemen Kills Top Coalition Officials
LAHEJJ, YEMEN — Yemen’s military, loyal to the Houthis, launched a retaliatory drone attack against a Saudi-led coalition military parade at Saudi Arabia’s Al-Anad airbase in Yemen’s southern province of Lahejj, killing several military personnel.
Saudi state-owned media confirmed that multiple high-ranking officials were killed and several others injured when a combat drone struck an airbase where a military parade was taking place.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro says he has survived an assassination attempt involving explosive drones during a military event in Caracas.
Live footage of his speech shows the president suddenly looking upwards in terror as dozens of soldiers break formation and scatter.
Maduro has blamed Colombia for the attack and elements within the US of instigating “a right-wing plot” to kill him.
Maduro added that he had “no doubt” Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos was “behind this attack”.
Russia’s revenge: MoD says all Jihadis involved in drone attack on Russian bases have been killed
Russia’s Defence Ministry has issued a statement in which claims to have completely eliminated the Jihadi group which carried out the drone attack on Russia’s Syrian bases in Khmeimim and Tartus on 6th January 2018.

New Details Emerge About Drone Attack on Russian Bases in Syria
Analysis — The Russian Ministry of Defence has now released more information on the drone attack on Russia’s two Syrian bases at Khmeimim and Tartus on Saturday 6th January 2018.
Yesterday reports from Russia spoke of the drone attack using US sourced technology and claimed the attack coincided with the presence of a US Poseidon surveillance aircraft operating near the Russian bases.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has now released more information on the drone attack on Russia’s two Syrian bases at Khmeimim and Tartus on Saturday 6th January 2018.

Today Russia’s Ministry of Defence says is saying that the drone attack was launched from a Turkish controlled area in the heart of a so-called ‘de-escalation zone’ in north west Syria’s Idlib province.
