Britain Worries EU Ban on Palm Oil Could Harm BAE Arms Sales

British government officials warned a proposed EU ban on palm oil in biofuels could harm UK defence sales to Malaysia, specifically Typhoon fighter jets, according to government emails obtained by Unearthed.
The correspondence reveals that the British high commission in Kuala Lumpur even expected Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak to lobby Theresa May personally on the issue at last month’s Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting. In the event, Razak did not attend the meeting in London, a Number 10 spokeswoman told Unearthed.

Skripal case: British confirm they have no suspect; Yulia Skripal vanishes, no word of Sergey Skripal

A week ago the British media were full of reports from the usual anonymous sources of a breakthrough in the Skripal case.
Allegedly the British authorities by comparing CCTV pictures from Salisbury and details of travellers to and from Britain had been to identify the persons who were supposedly responsible for the attack on Sergey and Yulia Skripal.
These stories came with further stories of a Russian James Bond style assassin – “Gordon” aka “Mihails Savickis” – who together with his team had supposedly carried out the attack.

The media has already started to beat the war drums about an impending conflict between the United States, Israel ( maybe even the rest of the world), with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as the American president has strongly signaled his dissatisfaction with the JCPoA, a.k.a. “The Iran Nuclear Deal” that was put into effect in August of 2016. BREAKING: Iran promises tough ramifications if nuclear deal abandoned

With US President Donald Trump threatening not to renew the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),  the deal reached in 2015 to limit Iran’s nuclear development program, calling it the worst deal in history, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is threatening harsh ramifications if the JCPOA is not preserved in its present form, together with the sanctions relief that were part of the deal.
