Matt Dillahunty and Jay Dyer square off in a long-requested discussion about the existence of God and the validity of the transcendental argument. Matt Dillahunty is a well known public speaker and debater who has appeared in debates with Dr. Jordan Peterson and remains a skeptic, while Jay Dyer is a philosopher and author.  The debate will be moderated by Alternate Current Radio’s Hesher.


Can Theism be established logically? Is there a simple presentation of the transcendental argument that can be had in 15 minutes? In this video I attempt to boil down the presuppositional argument to a brief comparison and contrast with the atheist/secularist/materialist worldview as a test case. Logically the non-theist only has a limited number of paths it can take from its starting point. Early on, Sir Sceptic challenges this argument with his refined logic skills.

Ethan invited me back to Ralph Retort to debate Apollonian pagan Mark Brahmin on the nature of the biblical texts, and in particular the law, the prophets and the wisdom texts.  It’s a heated debate that focuses on the validity of the Bible, the possibility of miracles, logical laws and fallacies, justifying claims and much more!  We had a funny, raucous live audience of 2k – Enjoy.

Note for the debate: YouTube changed the ingestion settings live stream page since we tested it two days ago. Matt was cool about it and we are rescheduling for week of 19th. Erick Ybarra attempted a response on canon 6 of Nicea and was so confused in his attempt to explain it away, I offered to hop on and debate it and the paradigms of Roman Catholic epistemology and Orthodoxy. The canonical and conciliar traditions about Rome as the first see grew, over many centuries, to be viewed as a magical divine super power. It’s that simple. RCs mistake and misuse canonical privileges for Divine Law and Institution. That is basically the entire debate – Bartholomew is doing this now.
