I do not consider myself alt-right, and I never have. I don’t even consider myself ordinary right-wing. Every political test I’ve done places me left of center, and although Im not interested in labeling myself politically it should at least give testament to people’s misconceptions of me.
Ever since Hillary Clinton’s speech, all of a sudden everyone is defining themselves as alt-right. The term has even spread to Sweden where we, as far as I know, don’t have any alt-right movement online.

I was reading this article about the alt-right, and I came across a piece about how trolling can be used as a political tool, that I found quite fascinating:

A video leaked Monday from a self-proclaimed “alt-right” conference that took place over the weekend in Washington, D.C., shows hundreds gathering to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory and raising their arms in the traditional Nazi salute and saying “Heil victory!” Leaders of the alt-right movement have been emboldened since Trump’s election, particularly since he named Steve Bannon to become his chief strategist after first being his campaign manager. Bannon is the former head of the right-wing news outlet Breitbart Media.

Richard Spencer, the man who coined the term Alt-Right, responds to the hysterical worldwide coverage of the five attendees doing Roman salutes at the end of his speech at the NPI conference he produced.
We also discuss how the media lied, Trump's forced response, Alt-Right trolling and actual violence not reported.
Later, Mike Enoch, host of The Daily Shoah, also comments on the spectacle as he, too, had some fun and made a Roman salute at the conference.
