Spain Should Let Catalonia Vote
In the past three years, we’ve seen two separate votes for the independence of one nation from another political body. First, in 2014, was the vote for Scottish independence from Great Britain, which failed to pass. Then, in 2016, came Brexit where Great Britain voted to withdraw from the European Union. We might yet see a third vote for independence on October 1 of this year.

Why Centrism Absolutely Sucks
You probably didn't hear Ann Coulter ranting and raving on Howie Carr's Hate Talk radio show Wednesday. She still trusts in what she calls Trumpism... but not so much in Señor Trumpanzee. She still wants to see him impeached. "If we're not gettin' a wall, we may as well have an attractive, dignified Republican there. We'll get better Supreme Court justices under Pence.

Russia warns that cancelling the JCPOA would worsen the Korean crisis
Russia’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia has echoed the words of Sergey Lavrov, stating that if the US goes through with Donald Trump’s threat to pull out of the JCPOA (aka the Iran nuclear deal), it would only lead to a further escalation of the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula.
Nebenzia stated,“Iran did find itself linked to DPRK [North Korea] because if the United States leaves the JCPOA this will be the worst signal we can send to North Korea”.

Facebook should be investigated for its role in the illegal Kiev coup of 2014
One of the great problems surrounding Facebook is that the wider public, the political elite and Facebook’s own corporate regime, do not know whether Facebook is a telecommunications tool or an ideological private sector platform, albeit one with close connections to the public sector.
In a just world, Facebook would be run and regulated like a telecom organisation, a mere technical conduit which connects individuals, no different than the phone companies of the 1950s. -

Theresa May's European Policy
The British Prime Minister Theresa May is set to make a historic speech on the post-Exit relationship between the UK and EU. Of all the places to make such an important and profound speech the choice of Italy, home to one of the most powerful (and deeply corrupted) Christian religions in human history, alongside its peculiar relationship and history with Mussolini's Fascists and the organised crime syndicate of the Mafia is a flamboyant if not very strange and disturbing choice.

Trump"s UN Speech: the Swamp"s Wine in an "America First!" Bottle
In his maiden speech to the United Nations General Assembly, President Donald Trump invoked the terms “sovereign” and “sovereignty” 21 times. In a manner unimaginable coming from any other recent occupant of the White House, the President committed the United States to the principle of national sovereignty and to the truth that “the nation-state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition.” More, Trump rightly pointed out that these pertain not just to the US and the safeguarding of American sovereignty but to all countries...

Episode 320 – Echoes of WWI: China, the US, and the Next “Great” War
[audio mp3="https://www.corbettreport.com/mp3/episode320-lq.mp3"][/audio]In the early 20th century, the world’s dominant superpower looked warily on the rise of a competitor to its supremacy. The machinations of the British to contain the rise of Germany led inexorably to the First World War. Once again in the early 21st century, the world’s dominant superpower is looking warily on the rise of a competitor. Will the American Empire’s machinations to contain the rise of China lead to the Third World War?

Russia Concerned Over US Violations of INF Treaty
Russian Foreign Minister has met his US counterpart, Rex Tillerson, twice in New York at the UN General Assembly. The two countries are at odds over an array of issues but the possible violations of the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF Treaty) is a matter of special concern. According to Lavrov, “We have suspicions on at least three fronts that the Americans are creating weapons systems which violate or could violate the treaty obligations.” The minister also emphasized that Moscow wanted the treaty to be in force provided the US observed its provisions.

Två superhjältar – en katolik och en muslim

The West – Where Are You Heading?
11 September 2017
A world map shows the West is big, from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans, from the Arctic Ocean to the Mediterranean-Black Sea-Russian border; but not that big. However, that is only Europe. Add Anglo-America, USA-Canada, from the Pacific to the Atlantic oceans, from the Arctic Ocean to Mexico. The West is huge, enormous.
It covers geographically the Northern Arctic and temperate zones. -

Midnight Meme Of The Day!
-by NoahI love this portrait of Lord Tiny Hands. The artist has really captured the internal and external grotesqueness of the man. You can also actually look at him and smell the stench. So can the little rodents at his fat ass and feet. Nice outie, too. I wonder if it's caused by some alien demon trying to escape. I suppose, though, that it's just an outie. Either way, I bet Putin is very fond of it.
