Policy over partisanship
Is it any wonder why people say that the Israel lobby controls the U.S. government? A recent promotional video from AIPAC makes a strong case!

President Trump is reversing his foreign policy decisions so quickly these days that it almost seems like he overturns himself before making the decision in the first place. Last week he was very clear that the US was pulling its troops out of Syria. “Bringing soldiers home,” he said. “Let someone else fight over this long-bloodstained sand.”
It has become apparent that looking back in history did not appeal to those who have presided over the military catastrophes in Afghanistan, the Middle East and North Africa. Had GW Bush known about colonial Britain’s defeats in Afghanistan he might have reconsidered his invasion that was militarily futile and resulted in a divided, violence-ridden, drug-infested, corrupt country that is now ungovernable.

“He died like a dog.” President Trump could not have scripted a better one-liner as he got ready for his Obama bin Laden close-up in front of the whole world.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, fake caliph, ISIS/Daesh leader, the most wanted man on the planet, was “brought to justice” under Trump’s watch. The dead dog caliph is now positioned as the ultimate foreign policy winning trophy ahead of 2020 reelection.
Since the moment the votes were totaled in the June 2016 Brexit referendum there has been nothing but handwringing about what it implied. The Brexit vote showed, quite clearly, that growing political unions were unsustainable.
It was the first in a series of electoral losses where the people finally said enough to an expanding EU.

The Movement to Socialism (MAS), the progressives, has secured a majority presence in the Senate and Deputy Chamber of Bolivia, Vice President of the country Álvaro García Linera said Monday. During a presentation explaining the results of the election on October 20, the vice president said MAS obtained 21 representatives in the Senate while securing 68 lawmakers in the House of Representatives. The Bolivian senior official said, “the MAS has prevailed in[Read More...]
The irreversible victory of Evo Morales in Bolivia’s recent elections, (with 46.64% of the vote vs. 36.83% for Carlos Mesa), has shed light on several aspects of the role of the Organization of American States (OAS) and Washington throughout their campaign to destabilize popular or left-wing governments, and return control to those who raise the banners of neoliberalism and submission[Read More...]

Washington’s influence in Latin America, it’s so-called “backyard”, has reached a new crisis as neoliberal and reactionary governments that have been backed by the U.S. and President Donald Trump, are threatened either by popular mobilization and uprisings or by electoral defeats.

Baghdadi elimination, rather death under pressure from the US army, is certainly a massive political victory for Trump before the Presidential elections but it isn’t by any means an encouraging news to the common people of this planet. Baghdadi’s death will not mean end of Islamic terrorism or Islamism as the elimination of Osama bin Laden did not mean the end of Al Qaeda.
[audio mp3="https://www.corbettreport.com/mp3/episode366-lq.mp3"][/audio]The Dissembler-in-Chief took to Twitter this past weekend to let the world know that "Something very big has just happened!" We now know that that something was a daring special forces raid that ended in the death of Osama bin Laden! . . . Or is that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi? Or maybe Abu Omar al-Baghdadi? No, no, it was Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi! Honest! We took DNA evidence before we threw him in the sea!
by NoahSo now, Donnie Trump has Impeachment Bone Spurs. It's a terrible condition but it's very treatable... with a bonesaw! We all know Trump has a friend who has who has a bonesaw and he can dispatch Jared to Saudi Arabia to go get it. We should set up a national lottery to pick one real American to administer treatment.

It’s hardly a secret that Americans will soon head to the polls to render their verdict on the Donald Trump presidency. So, who’s going to be trying to hijack the election process in the US this time around?
The big question is can Trump still win re-election, after going through hell and high water during his first term.
Oct. 27, 1962, is the date on which we humans were spared extinction thanks to Soviet Navy submarine Captain Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov. Arkhipov insisted on following the book on using nuclear weapons. He overruled his colleagues on Soviet submarine B-59, who were readying a 10-kiloton nuclear torpedo to fire at the USS Randolph task force … Continue reading "Thanks to a Soviet Navy Captain We Survived 1962"
No doubt, US foreign and military policy since the 1970s has focused on access to and control over the vast oil reserves in the Middle East. Uncritical support of Saudi Arabia (home base for jihadi terrorism and the women-oppressing form of Islam practiced by the Taliban) and the Shah of Iran (oppressive dictator who led … Continue reading "Absurdity of the Neocons’ Syrian Oil Narrative"

Eric Stamps-- too progressive for the governor?Ralph Northam was probably the most conservative, Republican-friendly Democrat in the Virginia state Senate when he served between 2007 and 2013, at which time he was elected lieutenant governor. He admits that before being elected to the Senate he had voted for George W. Bush twice.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Kanye West's new album is Trump-friendly. West, who has been diagnosed as bipolar, lost his mind long ago. Despite his disgusting Trumpist sentiments, West, according to Rolling Stone "is estimated to be the highest-paid hip-hop act of 2019 with $150 million in pre-tax earnings... The closer Kanye aligned himself with some of the most damaging, and profitable, forms of capitalism-- religion, the far-right, tech companies-- the more his business boomed." On Friday he released his new album, Jesus is King.
To much fanfare, President Trump announced to America and the world, the killing of ISIS leader Abu Bakar Al-Baghdadi.
