Trump: Criminalizing the War on Terror

The greatest counter-terrorism force in the world woke up on the morning of April 8, 2019 now officially designated by presidential proclamation by Donald Trump as terrorists and criminals. The Iranian Republican Guard, largely responsible, in partnership with so many, the Syrian Arab Army, Hezbollah, Russian Aerospace Forces, the Iraqi Army and militia forces there, both Sunni and Shia, defeated ISIS.
However, the United States took credit and has made every effort to cripple, starve and militarily destroy, let’s not forget that either, anyone fighting terrorism. Yet it was the United States that suffered the most devastating terror attack in history on September 11, 2001.
Let us not also forget America’s response, to invade Iraq on a search for “weapons of mass destruction” though no one had alleged any involvement by Iraq in 9/11. America began its war on terror by invading Afghanistan, partnered with the drug lords of the Northern Alliance. Within 2 years, Afghanistan, a drug-free nation, was the largest producer of opium in the world.
The US blamed the Taliban, who had previously eliminated all opium production from Afghanistan. The US claimed the Taliban was using aircraft, perhaps from America’s own airbases, to distribute opium to processing facilities. Our sources told us that many of these planes, perhaps the Taliban’s planes if one is to believe the United States, landed at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo, the huge US base that exists for no known reason.
Moreover, we entered another mysterious zone of fake narrative as, for years, the US hunted Osama bin Laden, who made, if the US is to be believed, dozens of audio tapes claiming responsibility for 9/11.
However, when the CIA’s records were requested through the Freedom of Information Act, the following came through, as the only officially recognized recording of bin Laden on the subject of 9/11.
Bin Laden made this statement on September 24, 2001 at 2011H GMT as part of an Al Jazeera interview intercepted by the CIA station in Doha, Qatar. This is what bin Laden said, in part:

  • “I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States.”

  • “Neither I had any knowledge of these attacks nor I consider the killing of innocent women, children, and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children, and other people. Such a practice is forbidden ever in the course of a battle.”

  • “Whoever committed the act of 11 September are not the friends of the American people. I have already said that we are against the American system, not against its people, whereas in these attacks, the common American people have been killed. According to my information, the death toll is much higher than what the US Government has stated.

  • “The United States should try to trace the perpetrators of these attacks within itself; the people who are a part of the US system, but are dissenting against it. Or those who are working for some other system; persons who want to make the present century as a century of conflict between Islam and Christianity so that their own civilization, nation, country, or ideology could survive.”

  • “Then there are intelligence agencies in the US, which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This [funding issue] was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these (FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY 180)  agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usama and Taliban and then this incident happened.”

  • “Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with the US secret agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the US Drug Enforcement Department are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat.”

  • “I have already said that we are not hostile to the United States. We are against the system, which makes other nations slaves of the United States, or forces them to mortgage their political and economic freedom.”

  •  “The Western media is unleashing such a baseless propaganda, which make us surprise but it reflects on what is in their hearts and gradually they themselves become captive of this propaganda. They become afraid of it and begin to cause harm to themselves.”

  • “Terror is the most dreaded weapon in modern age and the Western media is mercilessly using it against its own people. It can add fear and helplessness in the psyche of the people of Europe and the United States. It means that what the enemies of the United States cannot do, its media is doing that. You can understand as to what will be the performance of the nation in a war, which suffers from fear and helplessness.”

On that same morning, the world woke up to embattled and disgraced British Prime Minister Theresa May’s announcement of her program to cleanse the internet of dangers. Her promises to safeguard children from pedophiles, in her opening statements, quickly turned into a broad criminalization process of the free press and the creation of a new bureaucracy that closely resembles Orwell’s “Thought Police.”
It will now be a crime in Britain to question why forces, like the Republican Guard, who fight terrorists are, as reward perhaps, are themselves named as terrorists?
This has been a long story, as to who or what ISIS or the White Helmets might be and why American weapons and Saudi cash has been a major boost to terrorism. One might also cite the not dozens but now hundreds of times Israel and the US have “accidentally” bombed forces fighting terrorism.
Key, of course, is suppressing reporting and, by May’s new standard for the UK, even reporting such as this story from the Guardian dated December 6, 2015, would trigger arrests of journalists:

“Why hasn’t the U.S. bombed the oil wells that ISIS controls into oblivion by now? Would you believe that it is because the Obama administration “didn’t want to do environmental damage”? Former Deputy Director of the CIA Michael Morell has publicly admitted that we have purposely avoided damaging the main source of income for ISIS, and his explanation for why we were doing this is utterly bizarre. But at this point what could the Obama administration say that would actually make sense? Everyone now knows that ISIS has been making hundreds of millions of dollars selling oil in Turkey, and that this has been done with the full knowledge and complicity of the Obama White House. This is potentially the biggest scandal of the entire Obama presidency, and yet so far the Republicans have not jumped on it.
If you or I even gave five bucks to ISIS, we would be arrested and hauled off to Guantanamo Bay. And yet Barack Obama is allowing ISIS to funnel massive quantities of oil through our NATO ally Turkey, and he is not doing anything to stop this from happening. It is a betrayal of the American people that is so vast that it is hard to put into words.
By now, virtually everyone on the entire planet knows exactly what is going on. For example, Iraq’s former National Security Adviser Mowaffak al-Rubaie shared the following on his Facebook page on Saturday
First and foremost, the Turks help the militants sell stolen Iraqi and Syrian oil for $20 a barrel, which is half the market price.”
Until Russia started bombing the living daylights out of them, an endless parade of trucks carrying ISIS oil would go back and forth over the Turkish border completely unmolested. Following the downing of a Russian SU-24 bomber by Turkey in an area where many of these trucks travel, Russian President Vladimir Putin decided to publicly air this dirty laundry. Just check out what he told reporters following a meeting with French President Francois Hollande last week
Commercial-scale oil smuggling from Islamic State controlled territory into Turkey must be stopped, Putin said after meeting Hollande in Moscow.
“Vehicles, carrying oil, lined up in a chain going beyond the horizon,” said Putin, reminding the press that the scale of the issue was discussed at the G20 summit in Antalya earlier this month, where the Russian leader demonstrated reconnaissance footage taken by Russian pilots.
The views resemble a “living oil pipe” stretched from ISIS and rebel controlled areas of Syria into Turkey, the Russian President stressed. “Day and night they are going to Turkey. Trucks always go there loaded, and back from there – empty.”
“We are talking about a commercial-scale supply of oil from the occupied Syrian territories seized by terrorists. It is from these areas [that oil comes from], and not with any others. And we can see it from the air, where these vehicles are going,” Putin said.
If the Russians could see all of this, the U.S. military could see it too. In fact, we have far better surveillance capabilities than the Russians do.
So why didn’t Obama put an end to this?”

Conclusion
The examples we use, chosen from among thousands possible, demonstrating the absurdity, perhaps even insanity, that now faces us every day, out of Washington, Tel Aviv, London and Paris, are not enough. Increasingly, efforts to reinstill reality to the media are subjected to censorship and now criminalization.
Before that, before the endless fake “fact certifying” panels, staffed with morally flexible types, generally on the psychopathy spectrum, before the truth is entirely criminalized, a small window of opportunity may exist for humanity to make a stand.
