NATO experts to share practices, coach Ukrainian servicemen
NATO experts will visit Ukraine this week, Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Viktoria Kushnir has said.
“NATO experts – representatives of the Partnership for Peace Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes, a team of instructors from the Danish Armed Forces planned to participate in the course for military police staff officers, psychologists of the Latvian Armed Forces, and French experts on post-conflict psychological rehabilitation of servicemen – will visit Ukraine this week for sharing their practices and coaching Ukrainian servicemen,” she said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
In addition, Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak will meet with his Canadian counterpart Jason Kenney during the visit of a Canadian delegation led by Prime Minister Stephen Harper this week, Kushnir said.
The Ukrainian defense minister will meet with a delegation of the France-Ukraine friendship group of the French Senate on June 2. “The sides are expecting to discuss the current military and political situation in Ukraine and possible support to our country by the partner state,” Kushnir said.
Also, Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Yuriy Husyev will meet with a delegation of students of the Royal College of Defense Studies of the UK Defense Academy on June 2.
