Palestinian officials accused Israel of bombing the hospital and killing 471 people. Israeli strikes have killed at least 3,478 people and injured 12,500 in Gaza. Israeli officials contend that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad – a rival Islamist group to Hamas – caused the explosion when one of its rockets misfired.

Charlie Kirk explained that Israel has been on the brink of civil war because PM Netanyahu has been trying to alter the nation’s laws and decrease the power of the judiciary and courts. Netanyahu's approval rating was only 27% before the attack by Hamas.
