Michigan Deputy Resigns To Avoid Being Fired After Questionable Stop

A Michigan deputy who resigned to avoid termination after he was caught on video pulling a man out of a car for asking a simple question is now working for another law enforcement agency, despite the fact he has an established reputation for aggressive and unprofessional behavior towards citizens.
But considering his new employer, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, is looking into introducing body and dash cams for its deputies, we will likely see more videos of his aggressive behavior in the future.

A rookie Florida law enforcement officer who was caught on video beating a handcuffed woman was fired and arrested Thursday.
Jacksonville sheriff’s officer Akinyemi Borisade, 26, was charged with simple battery.
However, sheriff officials said he will have a chance at “name clearing,” which will enable him to be hired at another law enforcement agency, according to News 4 Jax.

Wisconsin police shot and killed a hostage during a standoff in December, claiming the man had a gun and refused to drop it when ordered to do so.
But a newly released dash cam video shows that Neenah police shot him dead without issuing a single order.
Neenah police also claimed that they transported Michael L. Funk to the hospital after shooting him, which is where he ended up dying.
But the video shows they left him lying in the street for 25 minutes where he was pronounced dead.

It took less than three hours Wednesday for an Oklahoma jury to find a volunteer sheriff’s deputy guilty of manslaughter for shooting a man who was restrained and laying facedown beneath a pile of deputies.
Robert Bates, a wealthy 74-year-old insurance agent who would donate cash, trips and toys to the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office in exchange for dressing up as a deputy and joining them on drug raids, claimed he had shot the suspect by accident.

A Texas cop feared for his life when he tried to pull a man over for speeding, only for the man to exit the highway before coming to a complete stop.
The driver told the cop he was looking out for everybody’s safety by not pulling over on the busy highway.
But Fort Worth police officer George Rusnak said it appeared as if he was trying to lead him to an isolated area to kill him.
Anything to get out of a speeding ticket apparently.

Oregon Man Found Guilty Five Months After Receiving Settlement for Same Arrest Involving Recording of Police

Having already received a $7,500 settlement for a wrongful arrest involving the recording of police in public , an Oregon man was surprised when a jury found him guilty for the same arrest Tuesday.
But Judge Stephen Bushong did not allow any mention of November’s settlement to be part of the trial.
Instead, the six-person jury heard testimony from several police officers that Fred Marlow IV was interfering with their investigation by standing on the property of his apartment complex recording them blasting their way into a home using flash grenades in September 2014.

After Tyrone Carnegay was hospitalized and cuffed to a hospital bed with a broken leg and a severed artery, Atlanta police took him to jail, where he spent three days before the charges were dropped.

New York Man Confronts NYPD Cop for Reckless Driving, Almost Running Over Children

Recording with his phone, a New York man confronted an NYPD cop for reckless driving, accusing him of almost running over children as he drove on a sidewalk, speeding into an apartment complex.
The video was uploaded by YouTube on Friday, but was originally posted on Facebook by a man who goes by Gesus Silverware earlier that day.
