Aidan Maese-Czeropski faced potential charges ranging from trespassing to obscenity violations. The Capitol Police announced that no crimes appear to have been committed. Compare this to the harsh sentences ans treatment of the January 6 protesters.

The grounds surrounding the Capitol are usually not restricted, and it was only due to the fact that police erected barriers and fencing for January 6th that those entering the designated restricted zone could be charged with “trespassing.” A provocateur known as FenceCutterBulwar cut down the fences.
