Have You Listened To "Dear Congress" Yet? You Should... Or Maybe It Will Break Your Heart
Dispatch is a Boston-based band which just released a new single, "Dear Congress (17)" in response to the spate of NRA/GOP gun massacres. They were moved to release the song after the murders at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. All proceeds from the song will be donated to the Brady Campaign, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing gun violence in America. Dispatch has been working with the Brady Campaign to raise money and awareness and encouraging their fans to write to their congressmembers and ask them to expand background checks.

It was on one of the few issues where she is actually in synch with 21st Century voters: guns. She began by reminding every that she became mayor of San Francisco when a deranged, right-wing politician, ex-policeman Dan White, assassinated Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone.
Money Laundering: Putin To Torshin To The NRA To Señor Trumpanzee
How much did the NRA spend on electing Señor T? $20 million? 30 million? It's hard to unravel the numbers; I guess they make it hard. But one thing's for sure... it's more than the NRA ever spent on any candidate in history. Trump. A guy who wasn't likely to win-- and who had a mixed, spotty record on NRA issues. And where did they get that kind of money to throw away like that? Ever hear of Alexander Torshin? He was a Russian senator from 2001 to 2015, a close Putin ally who helps run his United Russia party and the Russian Mafia and the deputy head of the Central Bank of Russia.

Ann Kirkpatrick-- This Is What It Means To Be A Careerist Politician With No Core Values
Later Kirkpatrick changed almost all her answersWhen a candidate for office has no core values other than their own craven careerism, they'll flip-flop all over the griddle like a fish out of water. Ann Kirkpatrick is one of the worst candidates running for election anywhere in the country. At the urging of the DCCC, EMILY's List and the New Dems, she migrated down to Tucson from Flagstaff to run in the now-open second congressional district.
