Selective Reporting Increases the Risk of a Greater Middle East War

The mainstream media news in recent days has carried reports of an exchange of rockets between forces based in Syria and what has been generally characterized as an Israeli “response.”  The Israelis claim that Iranian forces fire the rockets aimed at the Golan Heights. There are conflicting accounts as to whether or not the Iranian’s are responsible or whether the rockets were in fact fired by Syrian forces.

Hizbollah’s Victory and the US-Iran Conflict

Among the things that the Iran deal critics demand is a broader, better deal that curbs ballistic missile construction and prevents Iran from supporting “terrorists.” The media never questions the proposition that Iran in fact supports such people. Who are these terrorists? Hizbollah in Lebanon tops the list. (Hamas is usually next, and then the Houthis of Yemen, the Shiite militias in Iraq, the Syrian Arab Army, etc. Even the Revolutionary Guards a division of the Iranian military, is listed by the State Department as a “terrorist organization.”)

Ivanka & Jared In Israel for US Jerusalem Embassy Opening: Palestinians Die

The intentional provocation, inherent in this move is already seeing the desired results..What may yet come is anyone's guess, really. Might Israel take the opportunity to take still more shots at Syria? I wouldn't doubt it! How about all that Israeli violence against unarmed protestors in Palestine/Gaza/West Bank? NO calls from the anglo zionist toadies to save them from the Israeli tyrant. Macron? May? Trump? All Quiet. Israel live fire sniping at random Palestinians at Tear gassing. Lots of confusion.

Who’s Buying Votes at the Lebanon Election?

Beirut, Lebanon: Saturday, May 5, 2018 — On this lovely morning here on the coast of the Mediterranean there is not a cloud in the sky. In less than twenty-four hours voting will begin. However, on this day before the election, a howling wind is blowing from the south making the thousands of posters, banners and building-sized placards that feature the faces of the scores of potential Lebanese parliamentarians dance and sway wildly above the throngs of tomorrows voters.
