For so long, we have been pushed out from democracy. Our elected officials and political parties, both Republicans and Democrats, have been undermining the will of ordinary people. Monopoly media, bought by corporate money has turned against public interests, distorting information and manipulating public perception.
This week I was joined by legendary anti-fascist researcher and radio host Dave Emory. We started off the conversation by discussing the surveillance state and its influence on everyday life. Dave and I talked about Silicon Valley and the military and intelligence links behind the creation of the internet. We also touched on Snowden and his mysterious past and connections to right wing figures like Bruce Fein. Later we talked about Tulsi Gabbard and her popularity amongst many on the left.

TEL AVIV — NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden told an Israeli audience on Tuesday that surveillance software designed by an Israeli company had been used to target groups of journalists in Mexico as well as Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi who was murdered last month in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — Edward Snowden, the former U.S. government contractor who leaked classified information from the U.S.’ National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013, will be speaking at an upcoming conference in Israel via video stream on November 6. The event, which is being hosted by Israeli media consultancy firm OH! Orenstein Hoshen, will be closed to the general public and attended only by “specially invited guests.”
While Americans await the confirmation vote on another U.S. Supreme Court Justice nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the important question they should be asking themselves and their elected representatives is whether this nominee is the ‘constitutionalist’ they are looking for.
