Trump And Republicans In Congress Are Making The Pandemic Worse For Everyone But Their Campaign Donors

Cone of Shame by Nancy OhanianOn the Senate floor yesterday, Elizabeth Warren reminded her colleagues that the country is "just days away from a housing crisis that could be prevented if Mitch McConnell stopped stalling and the Senate act. This is about our health, our economy, and our values. Forcing thousands of people out of their homes during a pandemic will make a public health crisis worse.

To Survive 2020 We Must Win the Election Protection Trifecta

-by Harvey Wassermansolartopia.orgTo stop Donald Trump from becoming President for Life, democracy activists must win this fall's election protection "trifecta"-- restore the voter registration rolls, make it possible for everyone to vote by mail and guarantee a fair and accurate ballot count. The odds are formidable. In 2000, 2004 and 2016, Republicans deregistered millions of potential voters in order to put Geo

Conditions May Change Before November-- But Likely, Every Change Will Be Worse For Trump, Not Better

Every pollster or prognosticator who concludes that Trump has no path to victory says something to the effect of "but it's a long time until November 3 and things can change." COVID Is Bringing Down Trump

A new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post shows that Trump's handling of the pandemic is viewed favorably by far fewer American voters than it was previously. In March 51% approval. As the realization of his incompetence and narcissistic perspective kicked in, by May, the number had failed to 46%. Today it's 38%, which still seems awfully high considering how horrifying the results have been.
