61 Killed, 103 Wounded in Iraq; Gunmen Fail to Storm Gov’t Buildings

At least 61 people were killed and 98 were wounded in fresh violence today. Gunmen attempted to storm two government buildings near Kirkuk but were repulsed. A significant bombing also took place in Mosul.
