Wow, here come the arguments, the separations, the divorces, the continuing criminal enterprise of those who believe a vote for Hillary is a vote for mama or your daughter, or for your wife –
She press-conferenced her way into the presidential Gonna Be Made a Good Fellow of Murder, Inc. So, only retrogrades, troglodytes and misogynists and Rush Limbaugh types will vote or speak against her, thank you very much. Any revolutionaries dare speak out, well, we will be cursed, hogtied into the neutering ring circus that is American liberalism, and that wave of office arguments, pissed off democrats, is about to come on like a tsunami. Mrs. Wal-Mart and Monica’s Pal is running for office.
The poor war criminal will be up against pigs like Jeb, Rand Paul, Rubio, that Wisconsin smut, and, whew, the Jewish Lobby will be spending big bucks on controlling the opposition.
This is not news, nor is it earth-shattering, but the limp-wrist demon-crats, all the thirty somethings, all those neo-cons in Metro Sexual garb, all the neo-liberals, all those feel good folk, they will be voting for this vomit-inducing thing, Clinton. Why not Laura Bush? Barbara Walters? Why not the mess of them?
Professor Cornel West believes President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are war criminals. We spoke on radio Tuesday night.
COLMES: You’ve actually called (President Obama) a war criminal. Would you expand upon that? Do you think he should be tried?
DR. WEST: Well, I think all war criminals should be accountable and responsible there’s no doubt about that, that’s true for Hillary Clinton too. Anybody who sat there on those Tuesday nights and looked down that killer list and made choices that ended up killing over 3,000 folks and over 230 innocent children in Somalia, Pakistan, and Yemen. Those are war crimes my brother.
West also had harsh words for what he views as his media enablers.
COLMES: You say in your book that the Obama presidency has made it harder for African-Americans to criticize US policies and make their lives more difficult.
DR. WEST: You know it’s true, because of course you’ve got right wing attacks, ugly attacks on Barack Obama and therefore black people want to protect him by any means. And then you’ve got this almost wholesale cheerleading and bootlicking of MSNBC of so many, black and white, that don’t allow for critical discourse about not just for Barack Obama but for the system that he leads. It’s very clear that the American system is a failure when it comes to dealing with poor people, and working people when it comes to poor children in our schools, when it comes to poor people in regard to decrepit housing and so on. But they won’t engage in that kind of critique. Why? Because they want to protect the President. So the Sharptons, the Melissa Harris-Perrys, and the Michael Eric Dysons and others, they end up being these cheerleaders and bootlickers for the President, and I think it’s a disgrace when it comes to the black prophetic tradition of Malcolm and Martin.
I remember those huge battles when Obama ran against Hillary, and I wanted a Cynthia McKinney, or Winona LaDuke, or, remember the guy, Wellstone?
Hell, Planetwalker John Francis should have won as prez:
“Most of my adult life I have not been listening fully. I only listened long enough to determine whether the speaker’s ideas matched my own. If they didn’t, I would stop listening, and my mind would race ahead to compose an argument against what I believed the speaker’s idea or position to be.”
That was one of the tearful lessons for me. Because when I realized that I hadn’t been listening, it was as if I had locked away half of my life. I just hadn’t been living half of my life. Silence is not just not talking. It’s a void. It’s a place where all things come from. All voices, all creation comes out of this silence. So when you’re standing on the edge of silence, you hear things you’ve never heard before, and you hear things in ways you’ve never heard them before. And what I would disagree with one time, I might now agree with in another way, with another understanding.
So what do we do with war criminals, generals, captains, majors, defense contractors, all those millions working for those top defense industries as middling engineers, as anything, helping scorch the earth?

We are in the midst of mental and systems breakdowns, and the coming of drones, the intelligence clamoring and codifying with the IT private sector, all of this is meaningful but also part of the death star tinkering these Zionists and Murder Inc. supporters excel at:
In her book Hard Choices, Hillary Clinton admits having wrongly voted as senator to give President George W. Bush a free hand to attack Iraq. But she offers no apology for her many other bellicose choices.
Mrs. Clinton recently rebuked the Senate Republicans who signed an open letter to Iran that belittled President Obama’s efforts to negotiate a nuclear agreement with the Iranians. A year earlier, she said the odds of reaching a comprehensive deal were “not good” and, even if it were reached, she was “personally skeptical that the Iranians would follow through and deliver.” We can be skeptical that she has really softened her hard line.
During the 2008 presidential campaign, she called Senator Obama “irresponsible and frankly naïve” for promising to talk soon to Iran. Asked later on TV how she would respond to a (hypothetical) Iranian nuclear attack on Israel, she said,“I want the Iranians to know that if I’m president, we will attack Iran…. We would be able to obliterate them.” She said nothing about getting Congress’s prior approval for her war of obliteration, let alone preventing war by peaceful settlement with Iran.
Obama rejected what he called her “saber-rattling” a la Bush. But once he became president, he appointed her secretary of state.
As secretary, 2009 to 2013, Mrs. Clinton advocated escalating the Afghan war and bombing Syria for its (alleged and unproven) use of chemical weapons. Although unsupported by either the Pentagon or the intelligence community, she pushed intervention in Libya, accusing its leader, Muammar Qaddafi, of (alleged and unproven) murderous intentions toward political opponents. Ultimately he and others were murdered in the wake of an attack by the U.S. and NATO in 2011. In the anarchic conditions that resulted, the U.S. ambassador, John Christopher Stevens, was killed the following year.
Here we go with the uncle/aunt Tom, all rolled up in that image of African-Americans, on stage, with that piece of excrement, Rahm Emanuel, Chicago, and his crude advisers, the absolute irony here.
Rahm Emanuel, was re-elected Tuesday in the city’s first mayoral runoff since changing its election procedures 20 years ago. Emanual defeated his opponent, Cook County Commissioner Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, 56-44 percent.
Emanuel was first elected mayor of Chicago in 2011. He previously served as White House chief of staff under President Barack Obama.
Though Emanuel was born in Chicago, his Israeli father, Benjamin Emanuel, was involved with the Zionist militia organization Irgun, which fought for Israeli independence prior to the Jewish state’s establishment in 1948. Emanuel was a dual American-Israeli citizen until the age of 18 and volunteered for a civilian program run by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during the Gulf War.
Black Agenda Report, mostly unheralded by all those wacko Democracy Now folk, but they get it, now, don’t they over at BAR:
Even with Chicago’s corporate working hard to blur connections between the bipartisan agenda of dismantling public education, the president who calls the shots and the mayor who enforces them, the act was getting thin. With the presidential election less than two months away, the White House couldn’t afford to have its own policies exposed to its base voters. It’s likely therefore, that the White House privately needed Emanuel to settle the strike while doing nothing to back down from the presidential policies that caused it.
With last year’s “Waiting For Superman” and this year’s “Won’t Back Down”, the elite bipartisan campaign to privatize inner city public education is bound to continue. Romney and Obama, Democrats and Republicans agree on that much, so on this issue as so many others there is no question of greater and lesser evils. But Romney or Jeb Bush or some other Republican were in the White House, Democrats of many stripes wouldn’t hesitate to connect a sitting president with presidential policies aimed at privatizing education. With a Democrat, especially a black Democrat in the White House, black political opportunists see their careers threatened by any criticism of the president, his party, his policies or what he had for breakfast, and can draw soft-headed or lazy thinkers with them in the name of racial solidarity to protect the black president. So when it comes to school privatization, a black corporate Democrat, whether in City Hall or the White House is the more effective evil.
By early this week, the truth was hard to avoid and impossible to deny. The Chicago Teachers strike threatened to expose the vast gulf between some of the president’s rhetoric about preserving public education and protecting teachers, and the savagery of the Obama administration’s Race To The Top initiative, which ties federal education funding to how many public schools are closed and privatized, how many public school teachers fired, and how many of those remaining are evaluated according to business-friendly norms like test scores.
“I want you to understand, the president has weighed in,” Emanuel said. “Every issue we’re talking about regarding accountability of our schools, quality in our schools to the education of our children, is the core thrust of Race to the Top.”
Emanuel added that the “notion” of the teacher evaluations he proposed came from Race to the Top.
“In that sense there couldn’t be a bigger push for the president,” Emanuel insisted.
Emanuel also thanked Mitt Romney for his statement of support.
Besides the president, Rahm Emanuel had every newspaper and radio station in town, the Commerce Club and all the billionaires, scores of well-funded charter school operators and their contractors and hedge fund backers. He even had fake citizen groups like Democrats for Education Reform, which used money donated by its billionaire backers to run deceptive radio and TV ads (still running as of Tuesday night) aimed at inciting parents against the people who teach their children. Illinois is also one of twenty or so states that have passed corporate inspired “school reform” testing and curriculum measures into law, and drastically limited the issues over which teachers can negotiate along with the their right to strike.
The anti-people Unions got this Israeli into office. Over at In These Times:
The results are in, and the truth hurts. Rahm Emanuel will sit in the mayor’s office on the fifth floor of Chicago’s City Hall four more years. Despite fudging police stats to make murders disappear, despite stonewalling on police torture and atrocities, despite deliberately shortening red light camera intervals to raise revenue for his buddies, despite closing and privatizing more than 50 public schools, almost exclusively in black and brown neighborhoods, than anywhere in the country, and despite his facing a solid progressive Democrat challenger, Rahm Emanuel carried every single ward in black Chicago, not by big margins, but by enough.
It’s true that Chuy Garcia was outspent at least six to one in the April runoff and twelve to one in the February election. It’s true that Emanuel used that cash to buy an unanswerable deluge of radio and TV commercials. Big money and media are important, but these are advantages the candidates of capital will always possess. Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel had something else in his pocket.
Rahm Emanuel’s biggest asset was the overwhelming support of Chicago’s well-established black political class of preachers, business types, “community leaders” and public officials. President Barack Obama himself came home to Chicago this year and in 2011 to campaign for Rahm and cut commercials for him. Nearly every prominent black elected official in town, Democrats all, came out for Rahm, for privatization, for gentrification, for austerity, for more of the same. This is the state of black politics in 2015, and the reason that Rahm Emanuel carried every single one of Chicago’s majority black wards.
A career Democrat politician himself, Chuy Garcia could talk about the injustice of high stakes testing and privatizing public schools. What Garcia simply could not do was explain to black audiences why almost every black politician in town including the black Chicago Democrat in the White House was riding with Rahm. To do so would have been to directly criticize the regime of black urban politics and the policies of the president himself, something even the most “progressive” career Democrat politicians don’t do.
Soon after taking office in 2011, Rahm Emanuel had dinner with Karen Lewis, president of the Chicago Teachers Union. Rahm told the CTU president that a quarter of Chicago’s public school children would never amount to anything and that he refused to “throw money” at it. Lewis promptly took the mayor’s remarks public. That’s not the kind of thing career Democrats pols do to each other.
Hillary for president. Really? I get these crappy emails from Chuck Schumer or whomever, all these Zionists, these great white killers of hope, killers of collectivism, the cream of the crop, to be sure, in the minds of the media mush and the felons on top.
Or, from these freaks – UltraViolet Team? Nita, Shaunna, Kat, Karin, Adam, Gabriela, Holly, Kaili, Kathy, Onyi, Susan, Clarise, Anathea, Megan, Audine, and Ryan,
This is it! A woman could break the glass ceiling right into the White House, because Hillary Clinton just announced she’s running for President.1
And if you’ve ever turned on the news, you know that this is NOT going to be pleasant. Right-wing media and politicians have hurled every sexist insult at her, calling her “bitch,” “shrill,” and “emotional,” while serious news like The Washington Post gave too much attention to her hair, clothes, and cleavage.2 You know, the important things.
Regardless of who your pick is for President, it’s important we stick together and support each other when a woman is made to endure constant sexist scrutiny. Hillary Clinton is helping pave the way for all women into the White House, while enduring demeaning attacks. Will you join us in letting her know we support her in what will likely be the most sexist bid for the presidency?
It is far past time for a woman president. But sexist politicians and media seem hell-bent on preventing that from happening. If we are facing sexism in the media that is anything like 2008, we will hear Hillary Clinton called “She Devil,” “Nurse Ratched,” “Madame Defarge,” “witchy,” “anti-male,” or a woman president who will “make every man in America go insane.”3
It is normalized anti-woman attitudes like these that keep women from running for office. Yet despite facing sexism left and right, a woman is brave enough to run to be the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
The entire mess is one fat mindless media and do-nothing and on-line and digital blogging and messaging mess – America a la entertainment, oh the junk on TV, in the theater, along the endless aisles of obsolescence and self -injury.
Fucking Tax Time in the US of Assholes, and I owe a shit-load, can you believe it, poverty wages? You file married, and, well, you take the minimum deduction on the W-4, and you work in Oregon (income taxing us to death, that is, the middle and low and poverty classes) with its state tax, and then the feds, well, no millionaire and corporation and pig of a 19 Percenter with a scheme up her or his ass will have to pay what I pay, percentage wise, and for the shit-train, that endless corporate welfare and protection racket, for toxins, for biological warfare gear, all those drones and missiles, and the ammo, those aircraft carriers, all those military encampments called Police Departments, all the dismantling of public safety, health, welfare, places, commons, so another shekel lover can grab the free fun in abatements, public funds, you name it, well, now this is a craw in my throat. Tax me to my grave, while Emanuel’s brood and other scum make out like heroin-schlepping banditos!
Here, David Lindorff, 2009 taxes, USA! For every dollar that gets IRS-ed, we get the fucked up military!
In 2009, according to the venerable War Resisters League, US military spending accounted for 47 percent of all money spent globally on war, weapons and military preparedness. What makes that staggering figure particularly ridiculous is that America’s allies – countries like France, Britain, Germany, Italy and Japan – account for another 21 percent of the world’s military spending. Fully 12 of the top spenders among big military-spending nations are either allies of the US or are friendly countries like Brazil and India. That is to say, America and its friends and allies account for more than two-thirds of all military spending worldwide.
For the average American, what all this means is that of every dollar you send to the IRS, 53 cents will be going to pay for blowing stuff up, fattening the wallets of colonels, admirals and generals, bloating the portfolios of investors in military industries, and of course funding bonuses paid to executives of those companies, and the campaign chests and expense accounts of members of Congress who vote for these outlandish budgets. Your money will also be going to pay for the salaries and the bullets of those brave heroes over in Afghanistan who are executing kids, killing pregnant women (and then digging out the bullets and claiming they were stabbed by their families), and for the anti-personnel weapons that are creating legions of legless Afghani kids.
Next time you hear that the government needs to cut funds for providing medical care to the children of laid-off workers, or that supplemental unemployment funds are running out, next time you hear that federal funds that are needed to fund extra teachers at your school are being cut, or that Social Security benefits need to be cut back, or the retirement age needs to be increased to 70, next time you hear that your local post office has to be shut down for lack of funds, next time you hear that Medicare benefits need to be reduced, think about that 53 percent of your tax payment that’s going to finance the most enormous war machine the world has ever known.
I can’t be this brave, working for an agency that gets money from the state, feds, and counties where we work! Here, National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee, at Alternet: quoting DN. But there are brave resisters out there.
LIDA SHAO: You could face a bunch. I mean, some people get threatening letters. They get threatening calls. There has been a few cases of fraud. But, I mean, really, it’s a handful of IRSagents trying to control 300 million people, so the chances of getting audited is very low. And I personally haven’t felt any risk. I haven’t gotten any threatening letters or threatening calls or anything.
AMY GOODMAN: Why are you a war tax resister?
LIDA SHAO: I’m most inspired by my father. He was born the year before Nanjing Massacre and lived through it, and he was kind of haunted his whole life about what the war did to his city. And kind of, I guess—I guess I think of my war tax resistance as a practice that I can cultivate throughout my life
