On September the 11th, president Barack Obama told the Patriarchs of the Eastern Christians that president Bashar al Assad is protecting, and always was protecting, the Christians in Syria. The attendees, who are being indoctrinated by the Western media, did not believe these words. They tried to conceel the information which was given to them.
The Syrian government is protecting all minorities in Syria from terrorism, including Jews and Christians. The minorities are being threatened by the opposition. There are reports that the minorities in Syria are being massacred by some oppoition militant groups. The so called ”opposition” groups are being backed by the European Union, United States of America, Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and some other regional states. The names of some of these so called ”opposition” groups are: Free Syrian Army, Syrian Revolutionary Front and the Islamic Front. They are letting the Christians in the regions under their control live, but they must pay a monthly tax in order to stay. This tax must be payed by all non muslims in the regions which the ”opposition” have under control, it is called a non muslim tax. Another option for the minorities who live under their control, is to convert to Islam. If the Christians, or another minority, chooses not to pay the tax or not to convert to Islam, the ”opposition” will fight and kill them. In the government controlled areas, the Christians, and any other minority, are living like any other civilian and they do not have to pay a tax or convert to Islam. The minorities were always free to practice their religion in Syria under the control of president Bashar al Assad. They always had the same rights as any other human being in Syria.
Hezbollah is protecting shrines, churches an any other holy place in Syria. The shrines and churches are becoming a target for the terrorists. Hezbollah is securing these holy places, together with the Syrian Arab Army and the National Defence Force. The military wing of Hezbollah is internationally labeled as a terrorist organisation, while it is fighting terrorism in Syria and Iraq.
