In case you missed it, the Pew Research Center recently released a pretty extensive study that focuses on Americans’ views on race and racial relations in this country more generally. The entire study is worth reading and exploring in detail. You can download the report as a PDF for free and also view the study’s methodology.
The study offers an interesting insight into the state of race in America today. What I found most interesting was the survey asking how people viewed the relationship of their race to their overall identity as a person. Very few Whites surveyed – 15% – viewed their race as being “extremely” or “very important” to “how they think about themselves”. The majority of Blacks and other non-Whites surveyed, however, view their race as either “extremely” or “very important”:
Most black adults say being black is extremely or very important to how they think about themselves
Blacks are more likely than Hispanics or Asians – and much more likely than whites – to say that their race is central to their identity. About three-quarters of black adults say being black is extremely (52%) or very (22%) important to how they think of themselves; 59% of Hispanics and 54% of Asians say being Hispanic or Asian, respectively, is at least very important to their overall identity, with about three-in-ten in each group saying it’s extremely important. In contrast, just 15% of whites say being white is very or extremely important to how they think of themselves; about two-thirds say it’s either only a little important (18%) or not important at all (47%). […]
No doubt if Jews were surveyed, they would also say their Jewish ethnic identity is extremely important to their overall identity as a person.
What this study really underscores is the fact that all “minorities” in America are encouraged to celebrate and embrace either own unique racial, ethnic, gender or tribal identity – except White people. Whites are made to be ashamed of their past, their ancestors, their culture, and their accomplishments and achievements. Whites are made to believe that “race isn’t real” and having a positive pro-White racial identity is somehow “evil”, “hateful”, and in some strange way connected to “Nazis” and Hitler.
Systemic and entirely weaponized anti-White historical narratives – such as the fake Jewish “Holocaust” story and the official, establishment version of WWII more generally, for instance, or the totally biased and unobjective official narrative explaining colonialism – have dominated our discourse for generations now. Anti-White immigration policies and other government initiatives, from forced integration to state mandated “diversity” and “multicultural” initiatives, have also prevailed in this country for generations, along with the anti-White, Communist talking points and narratives that belie these sorts of policies.
What this study demonstrates is that Whites have been put down psychologically, spiritually, and culturally. One of the most taboo perspectives to hold not only in America but virtually the entire Western world is that it’s OK to be White.
And you know what? It is OK to be White.
It is OK to be proud of being White. It is OK to care about White people, our ancestors, our history, our culture, our experience, and everything else that relates to us.
Maybe in 10 years, after pro-White perspectives become normalized and accepted (that’s the goal anyways!), studies conducted into racial relations in America will have entirely different results when it comes to this issue.
