SPECIAL FORCES TRAIN FOR CERTIFICATION IN EXERCISE NOBLE JUSTIFICATION 14

The allied Field Training Exercise (FTX) ‘Noble Justification-14’ will take place on military training areas in Poland and Lithuania during September this year. It is a certification for NATO Special Operations Component (SOC) before taking over combat readiness duties within the NATO Response Forces in 2015 (NRF 2015). Altogether, about 1700 soldiers from 15 countries will take part in the exercise.
Special Operations Component Command (SOCC) staff will provide the direction supported by the Polish Special Operations Centre in Cracow. 5 Special Operation Task Groups (SOTG’s): 3 land SOTG’s (Polish, Dutch and Lithuanian) 1 maritime and 1 air (both Polish) will take responsibility for conducting practical tasks assigned by SOCC.
The Certification team will be provided by JFC Naples with Major General Piotr Patalong, Polish Special Forces, as the Exercise Director. Testing interoperability and other multi-national techniques will be a key aim of the exercise and will further assist Poland’s readiness to provide the framework nation within the Special Operations Component in 2015.
