MoU signed between Defence Ministry and Information Centre on NATO and EU

The Ministry of Defence of Georgia and Information Centre on NATO and EU concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation. Deputy Defence Minister Mikheil Darchiashvili and Director of the Centre Elene Gotsadze signed the Document.
Within the framework of the MoU, Ministry of Defence will insure admittance of volunteers of the Centre to the military bases, conducting for them workshops on defence and security issues and other simulation trainings.
The MoD will also promote cooperation between the Centre and military institutions.
The Information Centre on NATO and EU, in its turn, plans to increase the awareness of the Georgian population about NATO and EU through relevant information campaigns. It will also provide the public with information on current reforms in the Ministry and GAF.
After signing the MoU, Deputy Minister Mikheil Darchiashvili met with the staff of the Centre and talked with them on joint plans for future.
