NATO Chief Discusses New Training Center In Georgia

NATO training center in Georgia – Jens Stoltenberg”s Statement

NATO calls on Russia to withdraw recognition of independence on two Georgian regions and withdraw its troops, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated in Brussels after a NATO-Georgia Commission session.
According to him NATO condemns steps taken by Russia in Georgia and is concerned about signing the so-called agreement with Abkhazia.
According to Stoltenberg, the NATO training center issue has been discussed within the framework of the NCG commission session again.
As he stated, several more countries have expressed a desire to contribute to activities within the training center in Georgia.
Stoltenberg also stressed Georgia’s contribution in terms of participation in NATO and EU missions.
