GAF Communication Day
Today the Georgian Armed Forces celebrates Communication Day. Georgian military servicemen marked their professional day with the exercise “Communication 2015” on Vaziani firing range. The representatives of the General Staff of the GAF and Regional Manager in NATO and Central Europe Countries of “Harris” Company attended the training.
Military personnel of communication units of East and West Commands of the Land Forces participated in the five-day long exercise.
Within “Communication 2015”, the military set up management points on tactical and strategic operative level. The training aimed to improve management and control by using communication and informative systems.
At the end of the event, Head of J-3 Operative Planning Department, Brigadier General Giorgi Surmava awarded the communication officers with the service medals accrding to Defence Minister’s order.
