Canadian armed forces to come to Western Ukraine
KYIV: The Canadian armed forces will soon start training Ukrainian soldiers.
Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The Canadian forces will soon come to the Western Ukraine to start training the Ukrainian military forces,” he said.
According to Harper, such measures are financial support from Canada.

Canada ready to impose new sanctions against Russia
KYIV: Canada stands for extension of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, which carries out aggression in Ukraine, and even is ready to introduce additional restrictive measures.
Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“There must be consequences for Putin, economic sanctions should remain. And we are ready to work with our allies to impose additional sanctions if the situation requires this,” Harper said.
He reminded that Canada had already introduced sanctions against 270 Russians and separatists.
